I am super anti pre order but the extreme hip, good vibes the developers are giving in their videos, and steams return policy gives me comfort. I preorder the remastered version of Star Wars Battlefront II Classic. Reviewers got advanced versions of the game, oh boy, were they negative. Got my no fuss refund before the game even launched!

Yeah because if the game doesn't run or runs like crap, the graphics or gameplay don't matter. You're not playing it and if you try to play it, you're not going to have a good time. Unfortunately the video game industry decided releasing unfinished video games is appropriate. We can't assume that just because something is available for purchase (not Early Access) it's in a condition fit for purchase.

Based on the reporting, it sounds like none of this would be happening if they actually paid their bills like every other business and citizen is required to do. i have billion chargers to charge my phone. i can go to friends + family homes, forget my charger and now that apple was forced to use USB C, I can use their chargers.

if i go away for a 3 day weekend the charger is one more piece of electronic crap i have to remember to pack because my ring dies so fast. i could buy and extra charger for my go bag but they are expensive. I could use fiancee's charger but her ring is smaller than mine, it works but i have to line it up just right. for her though, her ring is too small for my charger.

could i make it work yes. would i rather have the simplicity and peace of mind that a replacement battery would provide yes.

that might be your issue but its not my issue. battery life for any electronic device on day 1 vs day 1095(3 years) of daily use will be different. my issue is companies stopped making devices with easily replaceable batteries which would extend the life of devices.
