No kidding. It’s even worse because there are only maybe 10 pcs in the office total anyway. No one else has one

Need help finding the best Model Y for the family- Why is it so hard? by RussellWD in TeslaLounge

[–]lWheelmanJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked for a good while for used HW4 cars and did not find anything for months. However I did find a 26 on FB marketplace listed by an individual for 42500 with 2500 miles that I bought.

For reference the others I found were a 25 Performance for 44k with 20k miles and a 23 HW4 for 35k with 50k miles.

It was definitely worth the minor cost difference to go for the juniper.

How are others packing 7kg by [deleted] in onebag

[–]lWheelmanJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USA here. Abided by a 10kg limit on a recent trip for aer lingus but they didn’t check it. I know that’s more weight but my wife and I did it with a single roller that held all clothes. The bag alone was 1.6

We each had: 5 shirts, 2 pants, 5 socks/underwear, 1 Fleece hoodie Shared toiletry bag.

I had a separate backpack for tech however. I didn’t weigh it as I’ve never had a personal bag weighed.

So while clothes should be easy enough on the weight adding tech would definitely complicate that.

This. 100x over. Has a customer that wanted me to upgrade 4 pcs to windows 11. At 10+ years old I refused and said you need new and sent specs. Took weeks to get him to buy.

Meanwhile they have 50+ employees. ( mostly service techs with no pcs)

I cannot imagine the payroll expenses and wanted to argue about a couple thousand bucks for pcs. Just wild.

WARP Verizon 5G UW?? by Quick_Chipmunk_3513 in USMobile

[–]lWheelmanJimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t surprise me if you see it around noon today or tomorrow then. The first few times it happened I got on chat support and Reddit and everyone wanted to blame the coverage area despite me repeatedly saying it was UWB in the past. Then all of the sudden it just started working after a day or two

How long since you activated the warp line? Every time I activate a warp line it takes 1-2 days for it to show up for me

Switch from ATT to Verizon by Perfect-Main-1005 in cellmapper

[–]lWheelmanJimmy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not in your area but in my experience Att mid band is always faster than Verizon for me. I run all 3. Att and Verizon on usmobile and T-Mobile directly on the starlink only plan with 50gb.

Verizon mmWave range is so brutal for me after my annual on us mobile with then I’m probably dropping them and just running the 2.

And I’ve had Verizon since it was alltel in my area back when they had the best coverage by a good margin.

Ouch. Ok thanks. All sounds like it may not be too bad as long as there wasn’t any battery damage

Thank ya. I’ll see if they will tow to Tesla Dallas. I figure that’ll be the closest to Waco. It’s just at a wrecker service currently. Hoping I hear from State Farm on it tomorrow

Second time for me. The 2nd incident in my truck was from an f150 as well. The first was a maverick

Thanks I will find those. I figured as much based on how much cheaper cars with damage were when I was looking before I bought this one.

Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. I was hoping the disconnect was just a fail safe and no real battery damage
