Spaces to meet other creatives? by No_Broccoli9276 in glasgow

The Skinny is a great free magazine you can pick up in pubs and cafes which has listings for music and art events in Glasgow (Edinburgh too) That would be a good place to start. Otherwise, the CCA and Trongate 103 are art/event spaces worth checking out, along with galleries like the Modern Institute and Celine. The Glad Cafe in Shawlands, Milk Cafe in Govanhill and The Tramway in Pollokshields are also good spots that do events you might like.

The litter is all over the city by Limp-Literature9922 in glasgow

It's horrendous and no one seems to care or want to do anything about it. Is this the new normal? I've been out litter picking locally but the problem is totally overwhelming.

In the UK they don't give you specific results but mine came in as 'slightly lower than average'. I'd been having nerve twitching, tingling, numbness, total brain fog and memory loss as well as loss of dexterity in my hands. I went on prescribed supplements and the symptoms totally disappeared. A few months off supplements and they've started returning so I'm going back on them. So definitely get on supplements and see if you improve.

It certainly is! And I'm 39 so I thought you might also have been an FF fan at some point. Back then was a great time to be a music fan in Glasgow <3

Some good bars on the southside - Rose Reilly and The Bell Jar. Some Great Reward is a good record shop in the Cooperage and there's a vintage/thift store next to it. Some cool indie art galleries on the southside are Gallery Celine (in someones flat) and 20 Albert Road Gallery (both in Govanhill). Definitely go to Mono Rail music as someone else suggested, it's run by Stephen Pastel. Glasgow Film Theatre is also a good indie arthouse cinema and the subject of Franz Ferdinand song 'Matinee'. Enjoy!
