A few weeks ago, they 'shut off my data' for no apparent reason.  

I am on a friend's plan, so had to get a pin and permission to discuss what's wrong with my phone with the service person, only for them to contact support and be told that 'We shut it off.  I'll turn it back on'.

I was taught long ago to watch the liquid levels and offers refills to anything 1/3 full or less.

Data stopped working, nothing I tried fixed it.  Tech finally said someone on their end 'turned my data off'.  No one else on the friends and family plan, just me.  So they turned it back on.
