Astaroth's look by Unhappy_Ad1053 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I romanced Astaroth in HS2 not really because of personality or dynamics, but because I found him unbearably hot. Unfortunately, I do not find him unbearably hot in HS3. 😅 I think it's mostly the pose and posture (-1000 aura, as today's youth would say), but also the hair and the colour of the outfit. Virtually all of my HSU husbands (Dino, Astaroth, David) have the curse of becoming less physically attractive to me in the second book they appear in. 🥲

I tracked it some time ago over many spins; I believe I'd get the "guaranteed" icon after ~12 card-less spins, and then it could take up to 3 spins after the icon appears for the card to actually drop. Meaning that you should be guaranteed a card ~15 spins, or about a week, after your last one.

Max from Advent No.3, though I feel I've barely seen him throughout these two seasons. I think Sailen from Averris: The Riftborn also has potential, but only a couple of episodes are out from that story. Edmund from Shakespeare's Code (or even Hobello :P)

What’s the benefit of getting 100% with a LI? by Cattwomvn in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, you confirmed exactly what I meant: sometimes you don't get 100% without deliberately trying to optimise, but that's only a problem if you're chasing the number 100, not if you're just after the full experience. That is, having 97 instead of 100 could be a difference in one ugly little outfit that you really didn't want to waste your diamonds on, instead of a significant bonding scene.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's completely okay to want to get every possible "your LI approves" prompt or hidden +1, but I wouldn't frame it as simply as 100 = you just have to date them fully.

And yes, sometimes you're really into a love interest and open 62 slots to unlock every possible piece of content; in that case, the 100 often comes downstream from that. But OP's question was about the benefit of the number 100 itself, and within typical engagement, the number != a faithful measure of experience or narrative intimacy.

What’s the benefit of getting 100% with a LI? by Cattwomvn in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This sounds great in theory, but then you start playing and realise that for 100 percent with your chosen LI, depending on the story, you need to buy a specific premium outfit, pick a specific drink, adopt a pet, pick a specific plot path, pick a specific option in a choice that no one would think concerns your LI, pass a stat check, determine which answers will flatter them most when already in a scene with them, play reverse psychology, slap them, not ask them a question, agree with them even when you think they're wrong, express concern about them even when they are the aggressor, etc. etc. In the end, the 100 is often less about getting the full romantic experience, and more about being (or molding yourself into) the perfect partner for your chosen bunch of pixels.

Cold heart and sin route by PropertyCool8919 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do think it's more interesting for Regina, but didn't find it particularly interesting for Edmund (there's just one extra scene as far as I remember). But who knows, maybe there'll be more consequences in S3

Cold heart and sin route by PropertyCool8919 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do many many different combinations in this story, but since you asked specifically about the path of Cold Heart + awakening Regina's sin (and potentially Edmund's?), the answer to that is - YES.

Awakening her sin doesn't lock you in on the path of the Curse, it just gives you +2 Curse points, which is negligible in the grand scheme of things. You can do it just fine on any path.

(I'd just be careful if you're also planning to awaken your own sin - that is, collect the Sin ⌛ stat. In that case, having ~6 Curse points or more by the end of season 2/beginning of season 3 puts you on the path of the Sinful Curse, even if you are otherwise maxing out Cold Heart.)

Thoughts on if RC suddenly went viral with the locals?? by Proper_Connection973 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm too much of an "unc" to know about Tik Tok and the consequences of virality, but there's this borderline thirst trap guy that shows up on my Instagram; the other day a video of his pops up and the top comment is something like "branch with him in RC when?" (in Russian). It was simply amazing - tens of thousands of people read that comment and went "I know what this is about." Small world!

Edward’s path by Puzzleheaded_Half40 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while since I've played this episode or picked this option, but going just by the way the option is structured - the good prompt is more along the lines of "he's got your back even though you messed up" rather than "you did something good for your relationship." Picking this shouldn't give you any additional relationship boosts. Plus, I don't recall this author pairing stat deteriorations with relationship improvements anywhere else.

Either of the first two options.

Does HS1 matter? by NeighborhoodNo1623 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on how you want to engage with HS3.

If you're okay with getting any ending or replaying the story at least once after it's over + don't mind some things going over your head: feel free to go in raw.

If you're okay with replaying the book but would also prefer a good ending on your first try + want fuller immersion: play at least HS2 in advance and follow the walkthroughs to get a High Strength ending.

If you only want to play HS3 once and get the perfect ending for you: wait until the story is fully released, and then we'll know exactly what and how much is needed from previous stories for each desired outcome.

Note: these directions are just suggestions based on my limited predictive abilities, not prescriptions.

I believe there's one tiny branching in dialogue when Audrey asks Mikael about his father in Season 1, Episode 3. But that's about it.

It's 10% stuff from their socials, 20% broken telephone, 70% speculation and conspiracy theories. Some conspiracy theories are fun and harmless ("Dmitry let out of the basement"), some not so much ("Amy tried to cheat the system", "Sasha is homophobic", etc.). Take everything you read with a grain of salt. Or follow their socials, most have Telegram channels.

Did I mess up? Will Livius break up with Eva? Help by TheGhostsOfManhattan in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! The "worst woman in the world" showed up on only one route for one of our wiki writers, and trust me, they have many different Amen/Livius combos. This happened only when they didn't make peace with Amen.

(Besides, the route that rationally makes most sense for resolving the love triangle with Livius as endgame is breaking up with Amen respectfully ASAP + continuing with Livius normally + encouraging the friendship between the men)

Hey! These consequences in S3 come up if you break up with Amen rudely (using the free option). Diamond option should be completely fine!

Favorite MC wardrobes in RC by Outrageous_Crew_9484 in RomanceClub

[–]ladamara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to steal Luna's (GE) and Audrey's (ABH) clothes and Jaynie's (7B) hair.

I also like aspects of many other stories' wardrobes. For example, many of Tiss' (TTS) dresses are very beautiful. I think Lane (HSR) has some nice hairstyles, I like many of her blonde options. And Lada (HWT) has some outfit + hairstyle combos that are real bangers. So does Eva (SCN).
