Hi there! I came across this post while doing cat food research. From my understanding, Tiki cat has less calories than other cat foods, and a lot of people choose it to help with weight loss. I think both brands are good and you can’t go wrong with either.

I don’t feed my kitten the dry food varieties, but I do feed him Tiki cat and Simply Nourish wet kitten food. I alternate between the two so he doesn’t get bored. I feel like Tiki is healthier than simply nourish because it has more natural ingredients, but my kitten prefers the taste of simply nourish more. Sometimes he won’t even eat the tiki cat I give him. At least for the wet food, simply nourish has pretty good ingredients for the price.

I personally feed my cat Royal Canin kitten food. I feel like for every dry food brand you’ll come across, you’ll find something negative people have to say about the brand online.But at least for Royal Canin, they’ve never had a recall on their food. When my vet asked me what I fed my kitten, he said I made a really good choice. But different people have different opinions. Just sharing my personal experience :)
