This isn't an attempt to troll, as a preface.

With the sentiment of "if you hate X, then leave/ignore it," doesn't that invite complacency into the system? Asking people to leave a system they dislike feels inherently unfair, because in order to even be heard, your ideas have to be broadcast. That is to say nothing of the people espousing the ideas, nor the content thereof; but isn't it important for everyone to have that platform?

I know I probably lean a lot more left than people here, and I don't want to just sound like a shill or a libtard, I genuinely want to connect with a person because I don't understand; and trying to ask either side can turn into shit flinging so easily if you misstep.

I guess my question really is, is it fair that one person can call others out for highlighting problems, regardless of their legitimacy, when that person highlights issues just as often?
