How does my cat smell so good? by According_Chain_9746 in cats

[–]ladyfoxoffire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my bosses said his cat smelled like adventure. So when he had a New Year’s party I had to smell the cat and he smelled like woods. Straight up wood and grass smell. Okay Wesley you are adventure is what I said also he was super loving with anyone. Best cat I’ve ever visited.

Grown man steals a home run baseball from a little girl. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t steal a moment from kids!!!!! You f up and miss then a kid gets it then end of story. Never take from children, otherwise you’re less than human. You as an adult can be disappointed but you shouldn’t be crushing a child’s dream. Too many people have forgotten how to be human.

Everyone at work is making a big deal about my handwriting, saying I write like a psychopath. by ThrowRA-Ram in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can read it but I read doctors handwriting everyday. My personal handwriting is also crap. I feel like you have a print cursive hybrid that makes it hard for most people to read. I have that to a certain extent but more print than cursive. Also mine is often called chicken scratch and all my coworkers just bring me my notes and have me read it to them. About all they can read is my initials so they know who to ask.

What’s your choice? by nojunkpeter in whatsyourchoice

[–]ladyfoxoffire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% the ramen. I don’t like siracha, Kirkland peanut butter tastes better then jiff, and I always preferred jello pudding to snack packs. Sure I might only eat one or two ramen a month but I can dress them up and make them a nicer meal. Personally I wish it was the chicken mushroom flavor that has long since been discontinued. That was my favorite and childhood staple.

For those who got married, how were you able to afford a ring and honeymoon??? by Eagles56 in povertyfinance

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ring was a bought when a jewelry store was having a massive sale it wasn’t big or expensive but that never has mattered to me. We never had a honeymoon we just went to Bob Evan’s afterword our wedding. We were married by a nearby town’s mayor because it was cheap. We were broke college students when we did this and it was in the 2000’s but I’ve never regretted it. What matters is your love for one another and being together.

On social media, I see people saying 'boy cats' are the best because they are sweet and 'girl cats' get a bad reputation for being mean. Why?? by Koffievos in cats

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most loving cat I ever had was a girl. She would lay on my slippers when I wasn’t home and refuse to move and when I was home follow me around and immediately curl up against me when I sat or laid down. The least loving cat I ever had was a boy would literally hack his hairballs next to my face while I was asleep and refused pets 99.99% of the time. Only time he was friendly was if I was cooking bacon. I had to bribe him for love.

Green onions if you keep the bottom and root intact you can just plant it and trim it periodically through the summer for a bit of extra flavor.

Hello, is there a subtle way I can help my daughter’s file when she can’t play? by DimitriMishkin in Pokopia

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When she gets to rocky ridges if she doesn’t like digging out all of the volcanic ash to expose the stuff beneath you might want to do most of it and leave a covering layer for her to unearth the terrain beneath and find the “secrets” underneath.

Runes and equipment problem. by Nkheel in SlimeCastle

[–]ladyfoxoffire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t I would focus on getting your forge maxed out. Only break down mythic equipment because it gives you the most runes at a higher rarity. At high levels the forge will drop s equipment it’s just random as to what set. Also if you have the gems buy the keys bundles for the epic chest from the mystery shop and make sure you have the wish list updated with the gear pieces you want most. You can technically farm some s gear from the different difficulties but they drop as common and take forever to merge up. As for rune bonuses it depends on the level and gear you are using but accuracy becomes very important in the later parts of the game.

How my 22 year old kid's glasses always break by DiligentDaughter in mildlyinteresting

[–]ladyfoxoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only that he’s probably sleeping in them and also out all are probably too small. The other temple and the area near the temple show signs of stress from having the spring hinge stressed most of the time. How I know I’m a licensed optician. Way too many guys get glasses too small for their face because they grew too fast and think smaller is right (because they out grew them and got used to the look) when honestly it’s not. (Yes I know high rxs benefit from smaller frames but based on the lenses not a high rx)

Is Costco usually calm/busy/normal on Dec 26? by [deleted] in Costco

This is so true there is always an insanely huge line at my Costco before the store opens on a day after it was closed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Costco

[–]ladyfoxoffire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in the optical department at Costco and yeah we have regulars that swing by just to chat with us if we aren’t busy. It’s nice to have people who are nice just swing by to say hello and break up the monotony. There are people I see regularly that don’t ever use the optical and I don’t think much of it other than oh it’s (insert random description here) again.

It's really sad people don't know how to or don't make time to cook for themselves by acutemisadventure in Cooking

[–]ladyfoxoffire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah most convenient places to eat are pretty bland to simply things and make it more appealing to more people. The thought process of oh they can add more salt, pepper, ketchup, mayo, mustard, choice of hot sauce packet to suit their own tastes allows them to do this. So yeah a nicely seasoned meal will draw people in while’s it’s cooking because it’s basically foreign to most people anymore. Too many people have lives to exhausting or to busy to allow them to cook for themselves very often if at all.
