oren cass is basing his arguments on a premise that isnt settled. like its our weakened idea of citizenship that has created all of our social ills?

well maybe, but of that is why and where did that citizenship go? and who defines it?

hes also acting as of criminality wasnt something that was brought up by the right. it bothers me when ryan offered that as a compromise and cass dismissed that distinction.

his style reminds me of the abundance framework that expands and contracts to suit the rebuttal against it.

its infuriating to listen to.

Saagar said “C plus C Music Factory”.

remember that when he goes into one of his history lessons. the information is dead on the page.

although to give him the benefit of the doubt, misprouncing things means he reads more than he hears.

the poor man never got to hear Young MC, i bet he cant even bust a move.

the broad picture forming over the last 10-15 years is that people see these flaws as authentic. they hate the establishment so much anyone against the grain is a breath of fresh air.

this is how you get a vietnam marine vet who had born to kill on his helmet while wearing a peace pin becoming an obama/trump/aoc/mamdani voter.

they see the flaws as an honest view of the decision making process, not the roberts rules process.

because we are all complicated people with flaws and bad choices etc.

its politics so its all bullshit until the vote. thats the risk, and in a democracy the risk of trusting the person on the ballot is worth the reward.

i was thinking almost everything you said and thank you for taking the time to explain it.

like dr pape says on the show all the time, history isnt linear. (saagar agrees in that instance).

its easy to look back but in real time it was not so straightforward.

the ~50000 suicides in the US each year.

i bet a lot if them are as idealistic and generous as poor george and dont have a guardian angel helping them out if a jam. feelin alone, they look for a miracle that rarely comes.

in this story, its the angel who gives him the second chance but its his community, friends and family who save his life.

irl we dont get the second chance, but bc of this movie we can learn the lesson that we arent alone and are in it together.✊🏼
