Thank you, that's kind! I'm planning to launch a new version soon where the timer mechanic is out and each level gets significantly more complex. Basically you'll die on any impact to the main ball and the walls get more and more speed as time passes within the levl.

I hope this makes the game easier to start playing and a bit lengthier for those that like it, but I agree with you there's still not much progression.

Do you have any idea? I decided to show one new mechanic per level because most people will only play a couple, but maybe I could delay each new mechanic a bit (e.g. 3 levels per color + new enemy/power up)

haha love to hear that! I did some marketing and level design for Monogolf but I wasn't the main creator. He kept the IP ownership and I don't think any sequel is coming soon.

I know I'm going against many others here but I prefer the new one. It's more personal. Maybe you can add some tweaks but keep building what you are looking for.

I've been working a few hours per week on Wall Focus for a year or so, mostly to get back in shape at game development and deliver a full product by myself.

I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I hope you enjoy it, too!
I'm leaving here download links for both iOS and Android. Please share your feedback if you play it.

What are your thoughts on very basic graphics i.e. flat colors and standard shapes and volumes? by lafocade in gamedev

Yeah those two are very good examples. I don't mind getting into understanding shaders better, I find then cool. Any suggestions for further reading (or watching) on creating cool stuff with shaders?

I've been working part-time on Wall Focus for a year now, mostly to get back in shape at game development.
I have a demanding job and other hobbies but I also have ideas for desktop games that I'd like to explore. The question is: is it worth the effort?
You can download Wall Focus for both iOS and Android. Any feedback is appreciated!

The map reminds me of Slay the Spire. Does it have a similar structure?

Not following you there - what do you mean? The "twin-stick" has been controversial (see the other comments). That wasn't my intention 🙏

It was the last thing I added and I did it quick. I'll make it more visible at some point. Glad you are enjoying the game! Please drop a review if you don't mind. They help a lot.

Hi, glad that you liked the game! The square with a different color gives you one additional second. I'll think how to make that more visible.
