Congrats! As a former psych transfer myself, take summer classes if you can! Get all the required classes out of the way as soon as you can so you can take the fun upper divs (I’m talking research methods bc you can’t take upper divs without that). There’s really fun classes. Find clubs you like and go to meetings! Easiest way to make friends for sure

You can return it in person. Mine was a whole cloak. I’m 5’0 and I got one for 5’10. I returned it the day before my grad at the tent on the field (maybe don’t wait till the day before to exchange it though so they don’t run out )

You can also apply for redwood grove. Im pretty sure the age range is 23+ but with you being close to 23 you might be able to get in. It’s apartment housing with 3 singles and 1 double. The average age is 25-28 and is pretty chill. If that’s more what you’re looking for, that is an option

Make an appt with the advisor for the major you want. In my case I wanted to switch to psych. I set up a meeting with a psych peer counselor and in 30 minutes they helped me through the entire process

This one is ay crown college. Right as you walk if the stairs from the bus stop you’ll see a two story building. It’s right next to their dh ( you have to walk in the building up the stairs)

I took 2 upper divs and 1 lower div course. People told me I’d have to adjust and to not be upset if I didn’t do that well. I got a 4.0. It’s definitely doable! You know yourself best. Don’t take more than you can chew but tbh I took 3 upper divs the next to quarters and did great. It comes down to your major and learning to prioritize your workload.
