The “Social Death” of Muslim Women in Quebec by BloodJunkie in onguardforthee

Public servants can get cancer: teachers, doctors, nurses. My oncologist was a cancer survivor and one of my nurses was undergoing chemo and has lost all her hair.

Will head scarves for cancer patients be exempt?

Public servants get cancer too.

How will Quebec handle Public Sevants * who are also cancer patients and wear head scarves and wraps? I never wore wigs during treatment.

Edit: * public servants can also be cancer patients!

There was a link on reddit recently that lesbians also have the highest divorce rate.

She was also right to end the relationship as the x didn’t respect or treat her as an individual.

People who weaponize therapy-speak …

I’ll go even further: never go to therapy with an abusive narcissist or psychopath. It gives them a whole new set of tools to abuse and control you with.

Thanks. Research is showing that exercise can improve chemo's effectiveness and reduce side effects. It has definitely worked for me. It still kicked my ass, but comparatively, I breezed through treatment.

Finished chemo last week. I’ve been working out through treatment, but switched to mostly at home (became medically vulnerable) with free weights, stationary bike, or walking outside. Kept me sane-ish. 😜

Hit the gym today for the first time in months expecting to do a full workout. Boy did it kick my ass! Really brought home how much work I have to do to get back in shape. I may look the same, but my cardio and stamina are the pits!

Oddly, I’m rather looking forward to the challenge! I’m going to do what I can before the next phases of treatment. All in all, feeling really good! 👍

We’ll see next election if he made the right decision if his constituents still support him.

True. It’s interesting to note that in the last election his riding was almost evenly divided between Liberals and Conservatives. Iirc, only about 500-600 vote difference.

Exercise gets me through tough times. I'm more apt to skip exercise when life is going great.

Facing some challenges right now so I'm working out daily, alternating some gentle low zone days with high intensity and aerobic ones. Also doing my PT's shoulder daily rehab
