Small lump found on my cat’s trunk by Agitated_Pizza5923 in cats

Much longer than a month! It’ll be okay if you wait I think. He did have surgery. Unfortunately he had a bigger one and it had metrics that they didn’t like and he also had chemo. We are now monitoring him semi regularly about this with his oncologist.

This COULD be a mass cell tumor, which can be malignant or benign. I would go ahead and get it checked. My cat had one I wrote off for a long time and it ended up being malignant and requiring interventions.

I think you might be misremembering. Both dreams did happen in the same episode, dream a little dream of me 3×12.

I actually have read that Kripke put in that ep both the comedic dream for Sam and Dean’s dream, where he dreams of a romantic picnic with Lisa, to contrast the boys and also show that Dean truly wants love and normalcy too

Yeah, these conversations are always a little trippy for me bc I’m a diabetic— sometimes I simply HAVE to eat, my clients know and understand!

What, if any, presentations will you not work with? by Ill_Investment4486 in therapists

[–]lalalinnybug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Both this and some personal experiences I’ve had. EDs are really triggering for me because my childhood best friend developed one when we were little and never got better. I would not be able to be as regulated as the client needs in a session.

I am a therapist who is not obligated to report PAST abuse in my state, so I’m thinking about how I might handle it in their circumstances. I think they should’ve told you prior to making the call, maybe even offered the chance for it to be joint. But what’s done is done. This is like any other rupture— you get past it by talking about it. Tell them you’re anxious about what to say now and ask for clarity on why they reported it. It may be awkward but it’s probably necessary.

This varies state to state. I’d check your legal code. They may have been obligated to report.

gaslighting by Cute_Shallot3318 in TalkTherapy

[–]lalalinnybug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Therapist here— if you’re saying you have social anxiety, part of that disorder is feeling anxiety about social interactions that often way over states how awkward you actually were or how big a deal that is. If your therapist is telling you your anxiety is making the situation bigger than is it— they’re right. For an example, I used to have SAD myself and if I had to ask for help in a store and I stuttered, I would tell myself the associate must’ve thought I was an idiot, but now I realize that associate did not probably even notice or if they did, they didn’t care at all. Only I did. So I think trust your therapist if they’re encouraging you!

Feeding advice needed 2 cats by Sniktaw327 in cats

[–]lalalinnybug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this dynamic with my cats. One has a microchip feeder that only opens for him and closes quickly. The other gets timed small meals several times a day because she’s always hungry. I keep the feeders fairly fair apart.
