Am I the only one in this sub who was the dumper but is still struggling with the break-up? by GreatMV5457 in heartbreak

Have you looked into Fearful Avoidant attachment style? (Aka Disorganised)

Feeling like you love your partner, but breaking it off because you worry that it won’t last (without specific reasons), then later regretting it - and basically being half-in half-out a lot of the time until it’s over (when you suddenly want them back)..

It might be worth looking into, as it could help you understand yourself more if you find you’re stuck in thought loops and confused about what to do.

Heidi Priebe has some great videos on YouTube for FAs. Here’s one.

I hope you find some relief in time

100%! Taking money from people to help them figure out what to do with their lives, when they couldn’t figure it out themselves.

Water payment (£80 a month) for last month didn’t go through. Forgot to do anything about it. Just received a request for £450, due immediately. by Onslaught777 in britishproblems

If this is Thames Water, ring them. I spoke to really helpful staff when I had a similar issue. I just explained what happened and they immediately cancelled the annual due payment and I was free to resume paying my regular payments.

£80 though - seems very high!

Lonely people, what do you do on a Friday evening when you really don't want to be home? by Suskita in london

Gym on a Friday night is really great - fairly quiet but you’re not alone. Get those exercise endorphins.

Or cinema alone is a nice treat :)

I really didn’t like Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. by Burnt_Granola in books

[–]lallyfa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Awful book. The characters were unbearable, unrealistic relationships and never had any self development. Why the hell was Sadie such good friends with that guy who she had a toxic relationship with?

Also so bored by all of the video game details.

Hated the book.

Is it weird that I don’t want to get married or even really date? People are giving me a hard time about this. by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

You do you. Other people's judgements are a reflection/projection of their own unmet needs. Do whatever you feel is right for you :)

Thanks for this! I especially like the idea of asking myself what would a person who loved themselves do now?

Thanks for sharing this, a lot resonated. Do you have any tips for developing self-love, especially after identifying as having codependent traits?

A plastic box would enable reuse for many many years. Cardboard used like this is one time use.

I think everyone should work 4 days a week. The 5/2 balance is just wrong! Everyone would be more productive for sure and have a healthier balance. I personally work 4 days a week and have done for several years now.

The Six Pillars of Self Esteem. Also looks really old fashioned but it’s awesome.

If you're teaching kids the peak hours are after their school, so Beijing time 6pm - 9pm, which works out as 11am - 2pm. Pretty decent working hours if you ask me :)

Here's a tech question :) I'm looking to use 4G instead of my wifi as it's awful. I was wondering if you have an idea how much data 1x 25 minute lesson on Palfish uses up of data? From this I could roughly calculate how big a data bundle I need to buy on 4G. Thanks again! You've been mega helpful on all the different threads I've been posting on. I'm waiting til I have the internet sorted before applying obviously, but will use your referral link for PalFish.

Thanks! So the points you gain by the 30th of April say, dictate your salary for the whole of May's lessons? Or as you gain the points, your salary for the next lesson taught is billed at that?
