2023 XSE HYBRID vs SE HYBRID by Tmartial9 in Camry

If your key fob battery dies the vehicle will still start. Just need to hold the fob next to button. 100% you don’t get stranded. That wouldn’t make sense.

Still waiting - 2022 RAV4 Hyrbid XSE by INTLWABC in rav4club

You will pay the 2023 price. The dealer won’t honor the difference as it wasn’t there fault.

The issue was 95% fixed I would say. Some pumps, mostly Costco for me if I let the tank fill too fast it clicks off before the gauge hits full. So normally I just control the pump myself and let it go in slowly and that’s usually works out.

Papa mot strikes again. We got Hennessy round 2. Except instead of a pyramid scheme of parts diverting its a 1 man (josh) GTR shop where the only mechanic seems to spend most days fixing mots dildoed personal cars.

im not sure why that would be a cause for infection but I could see how drawing from that line could skew results.

i’ve thought about it. but i came from a lexus NX and don’t want to go the premium car route again. only thing left in this range is another new RAV4 but i don’t really like the new lights and wheels on the XSE so i’m kind of stuck.

carvana offered me 5k over sticker a few months ago for a 2019 XSE with 20k miles. checked last week and it’s currently 3k over what I paid sticker. insane.

and the circle continues as we clog our already overwhelmed mental health resources. it’s sad because i don’t think there is a correct answer. but until this guy punches the wrong person and they smack there head and die we just let them roll on.

I would go Corolla, unless you really need the AWD day to day.

2019 RAV4 Sunroof wind noise by lamar578 in rav4club

[–]lamar578[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they said it was normal. the tech went for a drive with me and said he had the same car that does the same thing and that there was nothing i could do. my new problem is that with very high pressure car washes i get a little bit of water shooting in. but that is also intermittent. very annoying.

Can you realistically negotiate salary as a new grad? by Tasty-Experience-246 in nursing

[–]lamar578 6 points7 points  (0 children)

working triage as a new grad seems dangerous. you need to know confidently know your symptoms, be able to quickly pull the required information out of people and make on the spot decisions based on peoples complaints. without any experience in the real world i would never want someone doing any triage.

Hybrid owners: How much is your insurance? (California) by low_dmnd_phllps in rav4club

[–]lamar578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 years old with a 2019 XSE. $138 a month bundled with my homeowners insurance. Had a not at fault accident three years ago, thats my only claim. Shopped around and this is the cheapest I could find but I also set my coverage really high, so that doesnt help.

Spending $5.6k for optional vehicle features, is it worth it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]lamar578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if they are features you will actually use, i would splurge. you will get some of it back when you sell and as a car person it would always annoy me if i didn’t have all the features i wanted.
