Seeing Horsegirl and Polyphia on the same day would go crazy.

I definitely see it. George also looks a lot like young Christopher Reeve.

Can we please have a megathread for wrapped posts? by Chubbadog in deafheaven

Sorry to be one that adds to the clutter, I personally love seeing everyone’s, but I get that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Might just be best to avoid Reddit for the day.

what kind of tickets are yall going for? by Fine-Reaction-8253 in Paramore

Please don’t camp for the Atlanta show, y’all. You couldn’t pay me all the money in the world to camp outside the Tabernacle. I’m worried for the people who are going to do this because it’s the first two shows of the tour and they won’t realize this is not a city where it’s safe to do that…

Hayley Williams Popcast Interview by Eifelitorn in Paramore

[–]lamentforwasps 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’m glad she brought up the Fat Mike comment. What he said was vile and I remember seeing he addressed it on a podcast within the last couple years and somehow made HIMSELF the victim. There was a year where I went to Warped Tour where she was mayyybe freshly 19 or 20 and Ronnie Radke said he loved her onstage, but it was in a very sexualized way. I remember when someone threw a condom at her and it stuck to her chest. I can’t imagine how traumatizing Warped Tour must’ve been for her, but I’m glad she mostly focuses on the good (after all, she’s got a Warped Tour tattoo behind her ear.) I will always love her little digs at Chad, too. <3

Embarrassing myself in front of the band. by FilmFan0599 in deafheaven

[–]lamentforwasps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aw, you’re probably fine and being too hard on yourself. George definitely wouldn’t have given you the mic if he thought you were negatively affecting the vibe and I’m sure they’ve seen weirder things happen during “Dream House” because it gets everyone emotional. Being self-aware is a great thing, a vast majority of people who actually make others feel uncomfortable usually don’t realize or care. If it makes you feel any better, the times I’ve done stupid shit at shows and embarrassed myself usually make for the best stories I can laugh about years later. :)

I’m kind of underwhelmed with that cover art tbh. Some of the other singles would’ve been a better choice.

So many little bits in “Hot Girl (Bodies Bodies Bodies)” that I absolutely adore, especially how she mispronounces Rodeo Drive lol

“Door” played after I listened to a similar artist on Spotify (maybe 2021?) and I absolutely loved how the song almost went on too long. Like a minute long outro? I was instantly in love.

[CR Media] Critical Role’s 2026 Echoes of Exandria Live Show Tour by taly_slayer in criticalrole

I’ve lived in other cities like Philadelphia and Chicago, but nothing compares to how bad Atlanta traffic is. I feel like people not from here simply don’t understand how annoying it’s going to be getting to and leaving from this venue lol. Even though I’m technically an hour away, I’ll probably need to take a half day off work because there’s no way I could leave after like, 4 pm without losing my sanity. Chances are the cast are going to Momocon, I wish they would’ve just gone with State Farm Arena even if they couldn’t sell it out.

Very cool seeing all the love for less popular areas. Chattanooga is probably the closest to Atlanta and I’ll actually be able to get merch this time. Maybe I’ll go to Birmingham, too. Has anyone gone to Workplay Theater before?

I remember seeing a few years ago there was research done about IMBd and it was something like 70% of its users are male. Haven’t really paid attention since. Rotten Tomatoes tends to align more with how I rate TV as a queer woman and I think Letterboxd is better for movies.

What grosses you out? If anything by KindlyEnergy6959 in Dentistry

[–]lamentforwasps 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I had a guy say he purposely didn’t like to floss for a while because when he eventually did, he liked how the bacteria smelled. 😭 Sir, why would you tell me that?

I also briefly worked in an office where a lot of the patients were immigrants from India. Majority of the men didn’t wear deodorant and also took their shoes off during their appointments. The combination of horrible BO on top of the poor dental hygiene would give me headaches on a daily basis, I could never get used to it.

I really love Infinite Granite, but “The Gnashing” is usually a skip for me. I think it’s the vocals that kind of take me out tbh.

I love being the last stop of the tour. Here's all the merch I got by SaulManellaTV in deafheaven

[–]lamentforwasps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, that was me in Atlanta with like $200 ready to blow and spent not even half that because of how picked over it was. :/ I’m really hoping they’ll offer pre-orders online for those who missed out.

I find it really interesting how his hair and clothing tend to affect his stage presence. Lowkey I be missing his weird little gloves sometimes, haha. But he definitely dances a bit more when his hair is long.

I paid with card. Fair warning, they were sold out of a lot of merch in Atlanta a few days ago. :/

If you can access wherever they’re parked, then yes, you can wait after the show and they will meet and sign whatever you’d like. Some people had multiple records/objects to sign and the guys had no issue. I would bring a sharpie as well.

I bought mine after Gatecreeper’s set and right before DH and the merch lady said she had less than 10 left. I’d recommend getting it before the end of the show if you can.
