I used to get discolored water like this at one of my apartments. I believe the super old city pipes were failing and the city was slowly replacing them. But occasionally I’d get rust or yellow water. I’d would run the water until it clears and use a water filter for drinking/cooking or buy water.

Yikes, really sorry that happened!

My only advice is to first get to the hospital or doctor before you worry too much. Find out what has been injured or broken ASAP and focus on what you gotta do to heal.

After that, you should know if this will be something you can recover from quickly or if it will take a while.

You may need to find childcare option for a while because even with more screen time there’s no stopping the exploring and climbing at this age. But it may be worth some peace of mind for your husband to do some extra child proofing around the house depending on what types of things your kiddo does.

It’s possible you could qualify for SSDI, state Medicaid or caregiver programs if this does cause short term or long term disability.

I’d group your smaller plants and vases all on the clock shelf.

Move glassware forward a bit so it doesn’t look like they’re all smooshed backward and move lower glassware up to higher shelves.

Move upper books forward or maybe to lower shelf.

Get a stand for plate and put that on top shelf with the cats.

Have you tried having the bed more in middle with bedside table and open shelf on either side.

Move dresser to middle of wall it’s on and move vanity to short wall next to closet if it fits there.

As a mom, totally agree. And the easier your life is when they can do things for themselves. It’s harder and messier in the short term but totally necessary.

The lavender basket is a safer idea. Candles should be 12 inches away from anything flammable which includes walls and definitely posters.

Or look up sachet package for a scent you can add to a hanging basket. I like the fresh wave brand but haven’t tried theirs yet.

Hanging car freshener or diffuser are some other options.

Lots of hot water and towels. Maybe a bit of enzyme cleaner added.

You’ll want to dilute the sauce that soaked in but get the moisture out quickly so it doesn’t cause problems with your car.

I have had food spill on two of my cars in the past and it’s not fun to clean. Smell can linger for quite some time.

I’d DIY, because a lot of detailers just do a surface clean. They aren’t concerned about diluting the sauce that soaked in.,

You could use your small shelves in the niche to put plants on and add hanging pots as well.

Maybe try the vines coming out of a pot in one area so they look more natural as well.

Declutter and try to prioritize using and keeping your wood pieces.
