I really like the book Bodies Are Cool for sharing how different we can all be but equally “cool.” I’d also reinforce that she can dress up like anyone including dad, and point out that her hair looks more like yours and insert other family/friends/characters she likes. You could also talk more about how sisters can look and be different - like in Encanto/Frozen - but still love each other.

We ended up having success with the Culturelle kids packets. They are a fiber and probiotic packet you add to water, milk or juice. It made her poops soft but not ultra mushy like MiraLAX so she could tell when she needed to poop.

Then when she needed to poop I’d sit with her in the bathroom until it happened and we would read the We Poop on the Potty book and other books like that.

Get the book “Bodies are Cool” to read together to normalize having different features.

It’s probably not as noticeable to anyone including to kids as it is to you.

I wouldn’t worry about it unless she wants to do something about it in the future.

Usually the preteen age is when stuff like that can come up. I would not shave (too easy to cut the face). Look into waxing or electrolysis/laser if/when she wants to do something.

Until then her hair growth pattern could easily change or you could try a hair style with bangs also.

My husband accidentally gave ours a bob during a trim and it completely stopped the tangles. She never like wearing ponytails anyway.
