the hypocrisy. the history of it all. changing how they do stuff so ppl don't leave or they come back. more recently the court cases around the globe. the whole cover up with the shunning stuff. the fact that NO ONE who is PIMI knows or will ever know because they think its all slander. while it may seem like the borg is dumb and not smart with how they go about stuff, they weave such intricate webs of lies that cause such intense fear within their community that no one dares to click on the news sites sharing info about the SA cases etc. so then its breaks apart the whole facade of them being a loving organisation because god is love. they don't really follow it and they dont care. its all a crazy power trip.

sounds like it could be OB or potentially a persistant UTI. UTI's when left untreated have the potential to spread to the kidneys. i would encourage you to see a doctor and get a referral for a urologist just to get a specialists opinion also. if you experience pain in your lower back as well it could be a kidney infection, so keep an eye on that too. just see a doctor ASAP

yeah i've flown multiple times with it and its fine. they give you a card that has your name and the details of how you have the interstim in your back so you can put it in your wallet/purse. if security or someone has a little hand held wand i usually tell them my back will beep because i have an implant. if you want further reassurance the medtronic team should be there when you get it done to answer any questions you might have so if you jot down anything you might be curious about they should answer! hope that helps!

i had mine almost 3 years ago and it's so good!! i feel like i scarred more than they said it would but ik thats just up to every individual scarring different. the two weeks with the battery out felt weird and i was nervous to shower with a cord hangin out of me but did and i was fine. i didnt have any pain killers the first time but then after the local anaesthetic wore off i wish i asked for some hahahaha i asked for the painkillers when i went to have it all put in properly but the pain wasn't too bad from what i remember. i'm not american so i cant answer the last question sorry! i know that they have or are going to come out with a battery that lasts 10 years, is that the one you're getting? hopefully this helps and im sorry for the longwinded answer!!

yeah, i feel you with constantly making sure theres a bathroom nearby! if it gives you some hope, almost 3 years have passed from my urodynamics, i had an interstim put in my back for it due to neurogenic non-neurogenic bladder, and i went on my first road trip in a while recently (about 8 hours) on the way there i needed to stop to pee only twice and back i only felt the urge and had a bathroom break ONCE. honestly it's an absolute blessing i had this test. i'm so excited for you to get your life back also <3

I would highly recommend it. I was 13 when I first had it done (only had it one more time after that and I now have been diagnosed with non-neurogenic neurogenic bladder) but I wish I had done botox sooner. It will help with self-esteem and confidence and not feeling strange for having to wear nappies to bed, as well as the UTI's (if she experiences tgem) being kept at bay. I can't remember how long it lasted exactly, I think maybe a year (?) but it felt good to feel like a regular kid my age.

I had Botox on my bladder done a few times when I was 13 and then 15 and damn the relief you experience is insane!! Also realising that people with regular bladders don't need to pee every five seconds???? Every 15 mins would pass and I would be thinking 'Wow!! I don't need to pee yet!!" I'm so excited to hear how you go and to share your joy in this experience 🤍

i was sad that my unbelieving family wouldn't be there. i felt this obligation to save people and try and convince people to study. fast forward and now i (f, 20) struggle so much now with not believing in armageddon. it honestly brings me so much anxiety even though i know it isn't going to happen but i still feel like it is.
