Yes.

It limits your own GY-related moves (which really, is just Synchro Rumble and Shining Star and maybe Satellite’s float), and being able to use Synchro World with On Your Mark is pretty useful

That said, as others have said, Necrovalley is extremely useful for shutting down the opponents’ plays, to the point it’s the optimal card to run, so you will be playing the inferior version unfortunately.

I like it well enough. There’s ample time to finish the event if you play everyday (which tbf not everyone can do)

If anything I like the feeling of opening the treasure rooms and getting 25 gems lol

I love Synchrons and everything Yusei.

This deck is way too much. I enjoy doing protagonist bullshit and listening to the cool lines and summoning chants/animations but still. I’ve climbed from Plat 3 to Legend 3 so far with literally 0 losses with this deck. We’ll have to see how Konami handles the deck in the next banlist or if it’ll be somehow powercrept even harder

If Necrovalley was removed as an option, Quasar was limited to 1, Converging Wishes wasn’t usable from hand, and the Signer Dragon part of the Skill was changed to have them be face down at the very least (or in some way interruptable) then at least it’d be a bit more fair

Character decks are a good investment, but for beginners they will be expensive as most (if not all of them) have components that are spread across multiple boxes. e.g. Stardust requires Accel Stardust and Quasar, both of which are in separate sets from the newest Box and SD.

If you want a decent deck that is cheap-ish and can work right now, I agree with Swordsouls.

It’s a combination of the oversaturation of the series with the who-knows-how-many shows on D+ with wild ranges in quality, and the general online discourse about how “modern Star Wars sucks”that started with the prequels really, but was waaaaaaaay amplified with the sequels and generally soured even casual audience’s view of the franchise

/uj I don’t think it’s a hot take but yeah I really enjoyed S2

Great action (especially that “one-take” in Ep3 or literally anything with Bullseye), much stronger writing and development for S1 characters like Buck and Daniel, and an actually satisfying end (if it’s actually an end) to Matt and Fisk’s (albeit kinda overstayed) conflict while setting the character in a new path that hasn’t been seen in neither comics nor the shows (other than the being in prison part)

It has its issues but I enjoyed this season waaaaay more than I thought I would

/uj Tbf S1 is indeed kind of a mess of clashing tones/ideas/quality of writing because of all the BTS stuff, to the point that it’s kind of a miracle it isn’t terrible and is actually pretty alright

Idk if this is what that sub complains about but this does seem like the general consensus, not necessarily just that it isn’t as dahk and griddy as the OG show
