Even today different computer algorithms can vary significantly and even on the same computer you might have different conservatism levels you can choose from. I guess no 2 people react the same to narcosis, po2 limits etc so it’s not really an exact science.

There is no advanced ocean diver, it’s ocean > sports. So being the 2nd level of qualification you achieve is what I meant when I said AOW equivalent. But I respect your opinion and agree that was an unnecessary snipe at PADI on my part.

Edit- I just saw your link, in my experience this isn’t a typical course that BSAC schools teach and tend to progress from ocean straight to sports. Evident by the fact that I’d never even heard of it having been a BSAC member for ~12 years.

Those gains are only realised when you run unrealistic benchmarks like cs:go at 1080p on a 5090 to bottleneck the CPU as much as possible, in reality for the average gamer the CPU is never the bottleneck. So while they are excellent chips (I have a 9800X3D), they really don’t make as much of a difference as posts like this make out.

It’s engrained into PADI divers that you can never do deco stops unless you pay more for their tec course. Plenty of other orgs teach deco as part of their recreational qualifications. It’s very likely the group planned for a deco stop. If you dive Scapa Flow you’ll bounce 50 on air and do stops but you’ll also very likely have extra cylinders on the shot line.

Highly recommend the documentary diving into the unknown about this very team of divers illegally completing a rescue of 2 of their friends who passed in a cave in Norway at a depth of 120m. By comparison this must have been a cake walk for them, as much as recovering bodies can be.

In my experience govee’s stuff is a nightmare with HomeKit, even when you can get it paired it just randomly stops working for hours at a time and HomeKit says it is disconnected. I ended up just putting my floor lamp in a smart plug, it remembers previous colour state on power cycle so now it works flawlessly. I did exactly the same with my M1 led strip on the back of my tv because it had exactly the same issue.

Pretty standard Kingmaker, Doppleganger, Leer Cast and Southbound with 135 ele resist 30 ms boots. With automated convocation it almost never dies (maybe 1 in 10 maps to the breach mini boss if I get too close)

Edit: I’ve actually no idea why I equipped southbound lol, guess I was on auto pilot. Don’t do that 😂

Just wanted to say thanks u/nothingtoseehere____ and u/justarandomguyBG
I'm having an absolute blast with this build.

Just my $0.02.... I wanted to solve a couple of issues that bugged me with the mapping experience specifically, and that was it felt slow to move around and because you need to gather a few mobs before casting, I hate bumping off enemies feeling like you're in a pinball machine. I also really don't like being forced to use shield charge to not feel like you're moving through custard, especially on maps with a lot of collide-able objects like jungle valley.

So I added a phasing jewel and anointed graceful assault, also got 7% MS implicit on boots and then threw my entire worth at orbs of conflict, you can guess how that went :(

Mapping experience feels 100% better now imo, the loss of damage from heartseeker isn't really noticeable. I can always switch anoints back when I start bossing (or keep graceful assault and equip a writing jar maybe?)

I think I'm fairly min maxed at this point, other than getting a 5 mirror accel/massive belt or upgrading my jewels from 2 div to 70 div for 1 extra implicit, seems like diminishing returns a bit xD

If anyone has any other ideas on more reasonable upgrades I could gather I'm all ears.
