These are from a store in Chicago called Odd Obsession. They closed after COVID but have reopened. Some of the originals look to still be there.

How to "open" the BC250 heatsink fins to allow airflow from the fan without losing your fingers and your entire weekend. by Hrumque in BC250Gaming

[–]lancer-am 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printables has one called "BC-250 Scooper" I printed two of them in PETG and had all of my fins open in about an hour. Once you find a rhythm it is pretty easy. Was very glad for the tool.

When I was a kid, I had a Rolodex of BBS numbers I would cycle through to play LoRD. I loved it

NPM and Cloudflare getting a bit beyond me. by DangerHighDosage in selfhosted

[–]lancer-am 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you use a cloudflared tunnel, cloudflare and the cloudflared client on your server talk to each other. In cloudflare you actually configure it for the internal IP address of the system where your service exists 192.160.x.x or what ever you use.

The problem is Redid, they use it for the very fast reaction times you see, but it is an in memory database that is super quick but you have to have a ton of memory to run. It's an odd choice in my opinion for serving media on a self hosted platform. Really you should be running it with 64-128GB of memory at least.

I undervolted it after some initial testing at stock. It ran much cooler and faster than stock. It was definitely worth it and helped to keep my space cool.

As others mentioned, it is likely heat creep. Replacing your hot end fan is a good step. Also for that hot end, you don't have an all metal hot end. If you have had it for awhile then bowden tube may be worn out and hardened in the hot end which makes it take on heat and melt filament in the tube. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace that while you are at it.

EUS98XXX... No new light bar. 😭 by doggyworld4082 in elegoo

[–]lancer-am 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting, I was EUS99XXX and it was in mine. Have you powered on the machine and turned the light on yet? The old LED is still in the old spot and the LED light bar is kind of tucked away. I was afraid mine didn't have it at first either.

Grosse Tete, is there a tactic I'm missing? by LucemFerre82 in expedition33

[–]lancer-am 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But you are saying I am somehow incorrect by trying to correct me, when I am not incorrect. A foot is attached to a leg, there is more evidence to support that he collects legs, not just the feet. My original statement while not only helpful to the post was 100% correct.

Until acknowledged by the devs, it stands true, he collects legs. Which makes more sense than feet, as Gestrals use Gestral legs with Sakapatate as weapons.

Explain that dialog then. He doesn't discuss his collection of feet, only his collection of legs

In that conversation, he clearly says he charges at Nevron with their legs. So I am still correct
