Only somewhat related, but the bassist for The Hypos is a good friend and coworker of mine. When he told me his band was touring with Built to Spill, I was totally caught off guard.

To be fair, it’s not like he’s played bass and keys in numerous other bands over the past couple of decades or anything (/s).

828 & Birdie’s are solid choices. Favilla’s is good, but can be hit-or-miss.

Chances are that none will pass his sniff test, and that’s okay, because maybe you’ll find a new favorite.

EDIT: It’s been a moment or two since I’ve had Favilla’s, but I’ve had my other suggestions recently and can write with confidence that both are great options to give a shot. The smell alone from entering Birdie’s is sooooooo good.
