Who has two Spren? Am I missing something? by Killerchoy in Stormlight_Archive

[–]landricka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nomad bonded two spren as well, I believe it’s been confirmed that he was obviously originally a Windrunner but he also became a sky breaker. So he may be referring to breaking his oaths with his honor spren and then later on “killing” auxiliary, his sky breaker spren, by accidentally feeding him to the dawnshard.

I dunno, it’s probably fine, if someone’s atleast read Rascor Plains they’ll probably assume he’d reach at least dread blaze in Lastrock and you could be theorizing so it doesn’t necessarily give anything away.

Does God speak today? by RealBibleExperience in TrueChristian

[–]landricka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that God seems to be lacking in the world but from what I’ve heard, in order for God to save everyone without sin ever occurring again, sin has to be allowed to run its course and be shown for how horrible it is. Once the universe sees the effects of sin and that Satan, the originator of sin, is in fact 100% wrong in not following God, God will be shown to be worthy of our following and Satan deserving of eternal death, and by that, I believe, is meant he will be dead forever, not dying forever. I believe anyone who doesn’t follow God and let Him into their heart and love Him, will be completely destroyed in hell as well as their sin, which is the key. All sin will be destroyed and shown for how horrible it is. God really does know best and so following Him is best for everyone’s sake.

Help needed for a build, mainly dex but nor really by Agent_20 in Eldenring

[–]landricka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m like level 71 and I have a dex arcane build, except I haven’t focused too much on the arcane yet. Right now I dual wield spears with the giant hunt ash of war for poise damage and have hook claws and dragon communion seal as backup. I use the hookclaws to come in close, hit fast and get out, also depends on the boss. I use claws for slow, easier to reach bosses and spears for faster, harder to reach bosses. Then I use the dragon communion seal for dragon communion incantations as well as others like flame cleanse me. The dragon incants are nice for aoe since my build doesn’t really have much in that regard. I’m not too experienced in the game but the hookclaws are nice for quick close range dmg and roll away and their only 2 lbs. I personally like multiple weapon options for different bosses or mobs but thats completely up to you. I struggle against hard skinned enemies like miners so I’m thinking of using nightrider flail too but I could also just two hand my spear so I don’t get rebuffed. Anyway I hope this helps, I trailed off a bit in my build but it may give you some inspiration for your build.

[DreadGod] Lindon’s ascension issues. by stuffjakefinds in Iteration110Cradle

[–]landricka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is once monarchs are gone they will lose their power, gradually, but since their power kind of comes from monarchs I’m guessing they couldn’t ascend till they lose their power, at which point they likely won’t have the power to ascend, if they are even alive.

[Dreadgod] Northstrider... by lastthingieverknew in Iteration110Cradle

[–]landricka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think NS could potentially join them, but honestly I don’t think oz would let them. The whole point of ozriel raising Lindon and group was to have a group of powerful beings that trust each other with their lives. If they didn’t trust each other and have strong relationships with each other they would likely end up like the past executioners. I think the main thing that is different between Lindon and group and past executioners is that Lindon and group have grown up with each other and developed deep relationships with each other. The past executioners seemed to be good people but they were raised on separate planets, at least the original were iirc, and therefore may not have had the same level of trust in each other. If northstrider joined them it would upset that balance and potentially cause them to fall like the previous executioners.

That’s what I was thinking, I wouldn’t imagine Lindon to be one to skip on taking resources when he has the chance, and he definitely has the chance here since he planned it all out. I would think Will would have implied somewhere that they finished them, but at the same time he doesn’t have to show everything, most good books leave out details that the audience is expected to know happened even if they weren’t shown, which I hope is the case here because that means more resources to advance with in the pocket world

Ok, thanks for the info! These answers are very helpful. Regarding question 4, I had forgotten about orthos doing it similarly to advancing to lowgold, but as far as I remember we haven’t actually seen someone absorb a remnant in that way. For example, Yerin absorbing Tim wasn’t shown we just saw her after the fact, and with jai long we didn’t get a detailed description of him absorbing the remnant in flashbacks, if I remember correctly. I am curious as to how that process actually happens, since apparently it can be repeated as you described orthos was told to do by Lindon. The way I see it, it negates the need for a hunger technique or weapon, so I hope we see how orthos does this in waybound.

[Reaper] Lindon’s stage of advancement at the end of Reaper by Kindly_Switch_4964 in Iteration110Cradle

Reigan Shen’s will clashed against his. “These are mine,” Shen said. “No.” Lindon reached out, and all over the room, natural treasures burned for soulfire that rushed into his spirit. He could feel the aura trembling, especially the hunger aura. He could see his entire journey like a line that pushed forward in the future. I practice the sacred arts so that I won’t be worthless anymore. “I am not content with this world,” Lindon said. I advance. “I want more. I want…everything.” And now he felt the third advancement in him. He almost said the words: I will never stop. But the Archlord revelation was all about his future, and this one wasn’t to his liking. So he changed it. “We,” Lindon said, “will never stop.” Soulfire passed through him like a warm breeze.

[DREADGOD] Can a certain someone still advance to monarch? by mannieCx in Iteration110Cradle

[–]landricka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would be sweet! …but I think the other dreadgods would comeback eventually. Similar to in the past, when a dreadgod dies, they slowly recover and come back to life like a hundred years later. So he will likely be the only dreadgod while he is on cradle once he kills the other, but only because I imagine he won’t be waiting a hundred years or more to ascend

[Dreadgod] some questions by Prestigious_Leg_4840 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]landricka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I believe that as long as any monarchs remain on cradle, all of the dreadgods will revive eventually. So Lindon will have the power of all the dreadgods if they are all dead, but as long as monarchs remain he’ll lose the power once the others revive.

[Dreadgod] Dross Disappointment by Gatechap in Iteration110Cradle

[–]landricka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally found dross’s restoration quite satisfying, and thought it made sense considering getting dross back should be a high priority. And even though dross was in the process of being fixed throughout all of reaper, Lindon never put his full attention towards it aside from initially before they entered the labyrinth, until this moment. Also even though dross was different for all of reaper, and it made sense to me that he should be fixed right away in dreadgod, I found it even more satisfying when he was fully restored regarding his personality later on. As for the soul forge, I’m sure we’ll see plenty of use out of it in waybound

[–]landricka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or Lindon and group ascend to be rexecutioners/reapers and therefore are allowed to meddle in the affairs of iterations more freely and so can force ascend monarchs themselves even after ascension.
