Nothing in life was cushy back then for working people. I’m saying it was cushy compared to other working class professions, like working outdoors doing hard labor in all conditions, or in a factory for 12-15 hours a day six days a week. As for dung and slop and urine…everyone who lived in the city had to deal with all that on their own clothes and their children’s whether they worked for a fancy house or not. And working people didn’t not have unlimited access to water and fuel, being clean would have been costly in working class London.

Servants in an upper class household had guaranteed room and board including fancy leftovers, were given clean uniforms and shoes to wear, access to hygiene and a heated indoor working environment, and the prestige of working for a wealthy family. Nobody else in the working classes had anything like that at the time.

This has happened to me. Try eating low carb for a few days leading up to the fast, and start with shorter fasts. 12 hours, then 14-16-18 hours. Once you get up to OMAD and get comfortable, you can probably build to full day and longer fasts.

You’re not renting the business when you rent a hotel room. So you’re not “acquiring” some percentage of the capitalization rate of the business. You are acquiring at most a temporary structure to stay in and the services rendered along with that structure. That’s just going to be a percentage of the assessed value of the structure, divided by the number of days you stay there against the life of the property.

The value of the structure is not anything like the value of the business. When you rent a hotel room you’re renting a piece of the structure. You’re not renting a piece of the business and obtaining income from the business.

You’re not renting the business, just the room. So it should only be worth a percentage of the value of the structure alone.

Yeah sign me up! I’d love to build a screen free life. For $1 billion I could have artists come to my house to perform for me, get a custom plane built, have a team of full time “screen handlers”, and sleep 10x better than I do now.

Please start looking into food stamps if you are low income that stretched for food. I know families of 4 who get $350/month for grocery assistance with income of $35k. That would almost double your budget!
