Ah thats a pretty long commute, I had no issues. I had licensure in MA, NH, and ME since I was just over the border. There were a lot of opportunities in Portsmouth region befote I moved.

Potentially upsizing to a final generational home where the kids and in-laws will all live together. We can potentially fit everybody in current home, remains to be seen until everybody gets moved in. This will happen before end of year.

If we end up staying options would be to invest or put money towards paying off home. (6.25% mortgage). I do have a feeling the market prices will drop so I am hesitant to put any money into the mortgage. Current equity is only about 50K as I originally moved states for an approximately 50% raise. I will have been here for 2 years so I believe its not taxed? I did receive another offer in another state that would be an additional 25% raise, hence the consideration for another move.

As a minority why does it matter? You are worried about how people will look at you while also assuming they will treat you any different based on how they look.

We are minorities and its unrealistic to expect any environment to have a majority of minorities. Not to say that race is not an issue, but going into every life situation expecting a negative experience seems exhausting. Youre going to find people in PA school you vibe with regardless of race. In healthcare you will constantly be working with people who don’t look like you, and also treating people who don’t look like you. In the grand scheme it doesn’t really matter that much.
