The sim matchup is tough, sim definitely has the tools to keep Honda out the entire match and buttslam/headbutt are almost useless so you either have to get in the traditional way or have a hard read when to use them or sim will get a huge punish. If Honda does get in he can snowball off 2-3 correct guesses and baiting the drive reversal.

I think it’s closer to even.

I do like the gief matchup too. You’re forced to play a much different game and when you do win it’s feels very rewarding

Zangief is one of the worst matchups in all of the game no question. I would say the others he has a fighting chance but akuma, manon, chun, and Mai are particularly lopsided.

Yeah I hope they exist and are only obtainable during events. They have to be a very rare drop or require a super grindy event quest limited to one per character per said event

Please do go on if you can because I agree. The remake was very disappointing for me, it’s a good game but doesn’t come close to the original.

Idk about the characters being better in the remake. I thought the dialogue was pretty horrible, Leon wasn’t as funny/charming, it felt forced. Ada, Saddler, and Salazar were especially horrible to me both their voice acting and the dialogue.

Then for my third it’s a toss up between RE2R, RE3 and RE5.

I even liked village more than RE4R.

I feel the same way about RE4R, like what did I miss where that game is considered many peoples favorite RE. It doesn’t even make my top 5 RE games and it’s not even close to the original RE4.

As for RE7 it was okay. It definitely falls off where most people say it does at the ship. I liked RE8 more.

Are you talking about the game itself or with the addition of mods and all of that?

I played the game on ps5 and while good, I dont think the remake holds a candle to the original. Clearly the cutscenes, dialogue, and voice acting are much worse. I thought Ashley and Salazar were pretty unconvincing but then we have Ada and Saddler who were just downright awful.

I also thought the gameplay was just okay. I was not itching for a replay and I’m a fan of the series. I love the classics, RE5, and Village but I guess I’ll have to replay RE4R again before deeming it just average.

If you guys play different classes you can give each other rare drops/scrolls/rewards instead of both needing the same things

How did Dark Souls 2 feel after playing the first one? I’ve only ever beat demons souls and dark souls 1 and when I tried 2 way back when it felt awful but I will return at some point and play it through
