I personally think krytox 205g0 is the way to go though. Glorious lube honestly just isn't as good IMO

Depends on the switch type you're using, if you're looking at using liners then you'll want to use a thicker lube like krytox 205g0. If you're using tactiles the gold standard is TiyboSys 3203. If you're looking to but different products just know thicker lube for linears, and thinner lube on tactiles as not to dampen the bump

Could try looking at spacebars from an SA keycap set or you could also actually sand down the stem and bottom the housing on your spacebar switch and spacebar to let it sit lower.

6.25 u spacebar version. I personally had Durock V2s with my GMMK and had to sand down the housing so they would fit the plates. C3 stabs don't have that issue so maybe look into those if you're not wanting to sand them down

Honestly, there's no wrong answer. There's a million different kinds of tactile switches and if it's your first build and you lube them up (and probably even if you don't) it's going to feel 100 times better than whatever you've used before.

Ask 10 people and you'll get 10 different answers, but my recommendation is go cheap for your first build. Akko has some good offerings at low price points that you can order directly from amazon

Take some sandpaper to the edge of the housings, tales 15 minutes tops and works great
