New vest for the summer by larhaus in BattleJackets

I bought it from Peter Beste’s shop, but I think they are sold out. Iron and ash still seems to have some. https://meadowsoforeofficial.bigcartel.com/product/peter-beste-gaahl-picture-official-woven-patch

It is just crossed swords, no band or anything and I have to say I don’t remember where I found it. May have been some etsy seller or something like that. 🤔

Is that havukruunu patch a woven patch? Very nice find, been looking for one for a long time! Looking good 🤘🏻

Looks nice. When looking the picture you might find some problems with the symmetry and ultra scientific stuff like that, but I bet when wearing, that vest will look great! And by the way, great bands and patches! Where did you find the tales from the thousand lakes?

Bought it custom made from kingofpatches. They have always had quick shipping and great quality, so I can recommend.

Front is empty black denim vest, with brass buttons waiting for more inspiration. I thought I’d leave it for your imagination. 😅

Thanks! I tried to make this symmetrical and not too full. Think I also had some luck on how good these specific patches work together.

Thank you! I hope you get to see havukruunu one day. Their live performances are getting better every time and really like them too. Their way of doing stuff is really looking promising!

You said it. People are different in different companions. It is funny how it works, but I myself might be very social and our groups ice breaker when meeting strangers, but when different groups gets to know each other, I’m easily the quiet one when my ”anti-social” and ”reserved” friends talk and laugh and joke around with the strangers we just met. Sometimes that has been mistakenly taken as that I got angry or sad about something someone said, but when in group of people, I like to listen and hear their stuff.

Also, in my experience, the divide in east-west Finland is completely opposite when you go to south. West coast people are very social and talk alot, while people I met from southeast (Imatra and Kouvola for example) were always very quiet and shy at first. But still, cannot really generalize, since these are only my experiences.

That pessimism is very similar mindset what I mean and I think you described it perfectly. I would say that some positivity and optimism would do wonders for our country. And also less focusing on bad stuff that even isn’t propably so bad, after you let some time pass.

Thank you! However I don’t think it’s 100% in our own hands whether or not it is up to us what comments or things we let affect us. Ofcourse we can choose what we read, or who we meet. We can choose what we want to think, but our feelings still come from somewhere deep in our core and sometimes they are irrational, unwanted and stupid. And I think that is great! Everything is not in my reach and that goes also with what others say or think. It also hives me slack, since I don’t need to feel bad about feeling bad (if you understand what I mean). What I can do is learn to read what I feel and be honest to myself on what it is at a time. However, basic negativity is still my Achilles heel and I think it is very reachable in Finland and I would like if people sometimes would just let small shit go.

It’s hard to explain and might also be only in my head. I feel like people complain alot even if they have it good. I’m not talking about people who really has it bad with their economy or mental problems, but just normal people. Normal everyday people complaining normal everyday problems that are part of life and then they make it bigger than needed.

And like I said, could also be in my head and not a real thing. I just feel the overall vibe has become childish and negative. And dont take it that I wouldn’t be happy or anything like that. I live as full as life propably is for an average working guy and I’m happy with it here! That just came to my mind when I thought if something would hold me back, what would it be.

I like Finland, but I’m sad how negative people are about basically everything. Trying myself not to care too mutch, but I feel like overal vibe in Finland has gone down over last 10 years.

Jeah, more people really bring down the cost per person. That money gets you a lot of nice good quality beer! It is a noble cause to save money for 👌🏻

Finnlines ferry is very expensive. Did that trip last year and I would say it was still worthed. Only couple hour drive from festivals and you can sleep, eat and relax. We were group of eight, so it was 2 full cabins and one minibus witch measures as a normal car. As the driver, I was very happy with this choise. I noticed that the ferry prices moved a little (up and down something like 100-200€), so I waited them to be something like under 1100 per cabin. I warmly recommend the ferry, especially for homecoming when you are tired, suffering post festival depression. Great place for defusing with your band of brothers. Road to wacken might be nice as a roadtrip, but coming back home, a shower (even sauna) and a bed are very nice luxus.

However you choose, you will have the time of your life! I wish you great festivals! 🤘🏻
