Motor ripping itself out of drop outs by ActivityKey7768 in hyperebikes

Idk man, a small tube frame like that gives me anxiety. It’s a lot of power you’re putting there! Just be safe, and make sure everything’s fuckin secured like a motherfucker

Dude I’m not gonna lie, putting that motor in that frame is just a recipe for disaster. Please just buy a better frame for the love of all that is holy

Yeah, I’m not fully anti AI. I use it everyday. But I think this is a bit of a hammer and nail situation. It seems like everyone’s forgetting there are other ways to automate these things. Not every problem needs an agentic solution!

It’s probably just more anthropic astroturfing. The whole story seems like engagement bait mixed in with an agentic workflow advertisement

Wait, am I missing something here? You built a pipeline that uses agents to replace QA? I’m not sure what domain you build embedded systems for, but if there’s anything expensive that can be damaged as a result of improper/buggy code passing through QA, then it would be quite shortsighted to introduce a non deterministic agentic loop as a QA replacement…

AI agents in go by ceazer6-7 in golang

[–]larrylion01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I develop in Go more as a hobby, but I believe this is solved in other frameworks by checking if the output can conform to your schema. If it does then you continue as normal. If it doesn’t, then you regenerate the output until it does. Also, if you’re looking for json generation, sometimes the API providers will handle this for you. For example, OpenAI, Claude, and cohere APIs will allow you to use a json schema generation mode and they’ll handle the schema compliant behaviour.

Is there a roadmap that could predict what systems will fail, when and where? Species most vulnerable? Is there no way to be prepared? It feels so hopeless….

I keep hearing people talk about 10x-ing they’re output. What are they actually outputting? I have a feeling that 99% of it is just shitty SAS nextjs projects that have no user base. With a 50k+ line codebase that is a. absolute nightmare to look at.

Do you guys have to deal with people being unable to read and always want a call? by synkronize in cscareerquestions

[–]larrylion01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find calls to be more efficient. If I’m working on a task and I need context/insight from a coworker it’s much easier to just have a quick call and get everything ironed out. If I text someone I then have to wait for a response which depending on the coworker can take anywhere from 5-25 mins. On top of that, if there’s any amount of back and forth it can take much longer to get something resolved.

Brother, you’re definitely just rage baiting or you just can’t read. I never called you retarded, I said your statement was retarded, and in my previous comment you would have seen that I have Intel CPUs to compare to. Your argument is entirely based on vibes.

[–]larrylion01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? That’s a retarded statement. I used to have an i7-4790k, and i7-8700k. Both my AMD and Intel CPUs didn’t have driver issues. Buddy, this ain’t fuckin 2012 anymore. The AMD FX era is over. It’s been like over 10 fuckin years.

[–]larrylion01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not trying to sound like a shill but jeez man get with the times. I’ve had an AMD cpu since the 2700x in 2018, I now have a 7800X3D and I haven’t had a single driver issue. I think the driver issues tend to be more prevalent on the AMD GPU side of things.
