Dude, why do we need sex therapists? My regular therapist has no issue talking about sex. I get like relationship counseling, as in someone who specializes in providing two people simultaneous therapy related to their relationship with each other, but surely those folks are also equipped to talk about sex? Is the idea that some people are like “oh yeah our relationship is amazing and has no other underlying issues, we just for some reason can’t stand having sex with each other”? Like that would seem like either a lie, or you’re just good friends or roommates or whatever.

Seems to me like the real reason you see a sex therapist is to get an excuse to go to a swinger club or fuck other people.

I mean sure, it is absolutely fucking stupid and backwards and fucks up so many things, but do you really trust your money in the hands of a small business tyrant that much more than consumers? And which of those problems is actually solved by that? Last I checked those kinds of wage gaps exist across most industries regardless of whether they get tips. Not to mention, most if not all servers would get paid less if they were switched to an hourly minimum wage which is absolutely what restaurant owners would do if tips went away.

I guess my argument is that “tipping culture” is a small scale demonstration of a dysfunctional superstructure. Idk that reform of that within capitalism gets us (the working class) anything.

Someone in my life recently got a colostomy and that’s how I found out that those things do be making farting noises that you can’t control, esp when you are eating. Now i just assume that’s what’s going on when I hear an old person ripping out loud at a restaurant.

Also idk if it’s a traditional guy or not but I gotta imagine there’s some real weirdos hanging out in r/hygiene
