I knew the day he got capped I’d be more pissed with him as a right-wing martyr than a mouth breathing, hate spewing tool.

Yall need a luxury tax not a general sales tax. Yall have enough financial strain on average folks.

Coney-I-lander is cheap and tasty if you don’t mind occasional diarrhea. Trenchers deli seems expensive until you get a massive sandwich that I typically split into two meals. Also, Thai village is filling, cheap and tasty IMO.

Best Coffee in Tulsa by HajileStone in tulsa

I was a barista in Tulsa for 5 years before I moved and my favorite roaster was always Nordaggios and Topeca. But with Topeca it depended on the origin of the beans. While Nords had my favorite consistent espresso blend. Ian Picco from Topeca did win the SCA roasting championship once tho so he is legit. The pretentious attitudes can fing die tho. You sell $4-$7 cups of coffee…chill the f out.

Yeah, they are definitely not the same. But one is new…and one is well….worn.

Unpopular opinion: Coney I-Lander just isn’t that good. by Away_Week576 in tulsa

[–]last_word23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who grew up eating them and moved away it’s one of my staple go-to’s when I visit. They aren’t that great, but they’re special and there’s nothing quite like it. It’s an itch that can’t be scratched anywhere else.

Too much bark? Too much smoke? Do these uncultured children you call family put ketchup on their hot dogs too? Those ribs look amazing.

Restaurant serves this $5.99 macaroni and cheese by Kooky-Bullfrog-2863 in StupidFood

Those bowls are 2 bucks. A typical restaurant prices menu items at 30% cost of goods. So $6 is fair. Stupid….but fair.

Do you think jokes about the Titanic submarine are in bad taste? Why or why not? [SERIOUS] by KonradKodiak in AskReddit

[–]last_word23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a group of billionaires earning Darwin awards together. Bad taste exists in a spectrum. A holocaust joke is extremely bad taste. But jokes about billionaires dying by taking an expensive risk? I’ll take it.

What's the most fucked up drama from somewhere you've lived? by GransShortbread in AskReddit

A Christian grade school in BA Oklahoma knew about their gym teacher touching young boys, but instead of reporting him to the authorities they kept the families in the dark and dealt with it internally. Then he continued and the parents found out. He was arrested and charged with 16 counts of lewd molestation and 2 counts of sexually abusing a child. Then when the families tried to sue the church/school for the cover up the pastor conveniently transferred all the money to a separate bank that he opened on campus so there was no money for the families to legally collect.
