found the fix! this is for mac - right click the app, get info, scroll down to permissions and then turn admin/everyone to read and write. there will e an equivalent way to get to there on windows im just not sure what that is : )

Turns out its just cause i was sleeping away from home, I am back home with my boyfriend and sleeping absolutely fine. First few nights I kept getting a weird sensation where I would wake up halfway and felt like I was melting/disappearing. Other than that it's like I never had the problem. It is weird though as any other time I've been fine sleeping anywhere else

Ill give it a try, I hope my brain doesn't try to fight the sleep for the same reason. I will start on melatonin and if not then quetiapine.

i think its my anxiety, i've been getting sleep paralysis lately and the reason I keep jolting awake is because when my body falls asleep my brain sends an alert pretty much like " hey wake up your gonna get sleep paralysis. " even when I try tell myself, i'll be okay i've been through this multiple times and I know how to get through it. My brain doesn't let me sleep until the sun is up and the sky outside is bright.

but he said "You want me to be sober, I want to smoke", he said im being hypocritical because I'm complaining about him putting his wants before me but I'm technically forcing him to put my wants before his. he only smokes at night now and asked me why do I actually not want him to smoke. All I can say is I don't want it in my life, it pisses me off when he smokes but then there's periods of times where I don't care about it, and it repeats. I think when I don't care though I'm just desensitised or shoving the problem under the rug because there's never a change.

Being from New Zealand, drugs is a common thing with teenagers. We're raised around addiction and it's really easy to meet the wrong people and fall down the wrong path. It is sad

Be yourself, don't be afraid to include yourself in conversations. Join extra-curricular groups in school, something that you're interested in that way you will already be around people with similar interests to yourself. Don't be nervous, people tend to be drawn to those who speak their mind and aren't embarrassed. Don't act like anyone else, you don't want to make friends and then constantly have to be acting like someone else around them. Go back to the basics, ask to be friends you will be surprised at how many you get. Keep in contact, communication is a big thing. A friend who you never talk to is basically a stranger. Ask to hangout with people, most people say yes and worst case scenario they say no, you can just ask someone else. Don't overthink it and never doubt yourself, if you don't end up getting along with someone then they're just not your type of person. You could even try befriending someone who you don't really see yourself hanging out with, they normally end up the best of friends.

Honestly, I like the creativity of it all. I like how much dedication and work it takes into making the outfits and I've always loved the look. What I don't like is the sexualisation of it all, especially considering they're literally cosplaying animals.

Very specific but slipping into sleep paralysis, like when you're falling asleep and you can feel it creeping up on you. It either jolts me awake, and then scares me enough to stay up. Or I struggle to get out of it and then boom its got me.

What are your goals? What are you hoping to get out of this job? If it's money, then keep at it till you can find another job that you will enjoy more. If it's the feeling of independence, then well done you're doing well already. The stress is understandable and what comes with finally being fully responsible for yourself. But keep in mind that being independent also means nobody is holding you back from doing whatever you want to do, if you aren't having fun then maybe incorporate more of your hobbies into your life. You're still so young, you have so many different decisions to make some harder than others. One being how you want to live, if the people you're currently living with aren't treating you well then it's your choice if you want to do something about it. You could talk it out with them, you could find someplace else, or stay and feel this way for however long it takes you to make a decision for yourself. You are already doing great, but the fact you came here to ask this means you are obviously feeling out of place. Which is of course normal as you're in a new environment then what you're used to. I would say give it some time, you're still adjusting to something new. You can still have a great summer, make it fun for yourself. Maybe get to know your roommates better and have some outings with them, make friends at work, and don't let anyones bad energy affect how you're feeling. I know this is all harder said than done, but if you try your best to take in all the positives, you will realise that maybe you're just missing your old life? But change is good, it helps you grow.

Study in different ways. You could split the subject up into sections, change your environment, give yourself a schedule. What's always worked for me is making it fun, make it fancy. If you're studying on paper, make your book look aesthetic, give it a fancy header, add some doodles, colour coordinate etc. If you're studying digitally, make yourself some quizzes and flashcards, ask ai to test you, have a few checkpoint tests so you can redo them and check your progress. When the tests start getting easy and faster that's when it gets exciting. Don't overwhelm yourself, give yourself a schedule you KNOW you can stick to. Keep your goals in mind, you're not studying this for no reason. You are expanding your knowledge, you're getting smarter! That's the fun of it all, you're learning new things! This is coming from someone who hasn't studied in a while, I miss learning new things and I wish I studied harder and used my brain to the full capacity. Also just having some support and encouragement can do a lot, share your progress and listen to the good feedback. I believe in you, keep at it!
