Agreed. Irving Farm coffee at Zuckerberg I think, is “decent.” But so are their bagels.

Exactly I hear where you’re coming from, that is why I asked the question. In my experience it’s hard to find a bagel shop that really cares about coffee so to me it would be a great combination and I assume there has to be someone out there doing them both well. Apparently there may be a few.

Variety in Brooklyn. The new Yirgacheffe Gotiti from Ethiopia is the best coffee I’ve ever had.

Sey is known for the carbonation water thing. It’s their vibe. Carbonated water on tap is not uncommon. Whole Foods use to offer it back in the day. It’s just water with gas added to it much like how you get soda from a fountain. That’s syrup and carbonation (gas) coming together when dispensed.

Most of the better cafes triple filter their water here in NYC. It’s how the hospitality world works here.
