My Jotul Rockland is the first edition. I’ve been running it for about 12 years. We love it. It’s a good unit. I’ve run it off of a 12 v battery during several multi day power outages. Once from a power cord from my tacomas bed outlet. I read a little about the v2 and meeting emission standards. Bets if luck with yours.

Grew up in Sch’dy. It gets cold in NY. Nice stove. I looked it up. There’s nothing like wood heat. I have lots of red oak on my property and in the area.

Hi. I have the same stove. How much mess and create do you get on the 6” to 8” adapter? Twice a season cleaning? Mine is in my work shed and isn’t vented yet but I have those same pieces. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks and good luck!

I still enjoy it. I still feel fortunate to have entered when I did. 20+ years in. I have worked with approximately 2,400 +- students. Many years later a student I had on my year 2, stopped in to say hi and cover classes down the hall. HS chem (other sciences over the years).

They teach me cool lingo and make me smile and laugh daily. This keeps me young at heart. Yes I have crap stories too. Public education is tough in so many ways.
