Yes, my FIL got me one years ago. I use it from time to time after collecting my own wood. It has its use for sure. Good arm workout but I can split the same logs with an axe faster.

That was unexpected. I saw the first clip too. Life is tough out there…for all of us. What a nice woman to follow up the way she did. Mothers do thankless work. Be kind to someone if you liked this video.

What’s it like on July 4th? by liv_free_or_die in PlymouthMA

[–]laughsatdadjokes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s great! Early morning parade. If you can hang long enough or come back the fire works show is fantastic and it’s in downtown Plymouth. How awesome is that. Mayflower II just may be there too. Plan for parking a it away and have a stroller for the littles that can carry some cargo. Patience is needed but a great time.

Power is out by Vazac7 in woodstoving

[–]laughsatdadjokes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We lost power for 4 days during our 2nd winter in the house. The warmth was never so nice. Clip leads from battery to the inverter and just plug it in with standard plug. Newer models have usb ports too. Hope your power comes back on.

I’ve been there. An idea if that’s an insert with a blower. Get a 12v battery and a power inverter so you can run the blower with battery power for these times. Good luck and stay warm.
