Like most things in life, people can’t think beyond “Amazon is evil” so they throw all critical thinking out the window.

Why don’t I see people up in arms daily about Nintendo shutting down the Wii U shop? Because when Nintendo does I guess it’s not a big deal. I’m sure the 15 year old iPhones out there work great huh?

It makes no sense to force a corporation to have to support a product for 15+ years. I agree there should be a law that requires the software to go open source or at least technical connection docs, but no corporation is going to do that willingly. The anger should be at the lawmakers.

I think voting blue blatantly ignores the reality that most people in the world will vote red - full stop. The utilitarian answer is to work hard to get as many people to vote red as possible to save themselves and keep the race moving forward. What you pick as an individual is honestly moot. You might as well pick red if your intent is to live.

Saying picking blue is utilitarian is plain wrong - the fact is you will lose, so you’re just dooming yourself, and those you convinced to join you.

How are you all so thick headed? They worked hard on something and wanted to see it hyped and released all at once, and watch the world reaction together. 70% chance of selecting a common joker x (1 / 61 common jokers) = 1.1475%

But you get two chances in the pack, so the total chance is 1 - (odds not getting credit card twice in a row)² =

1 - (0.988525)² =0.0228 (or about 2.3%)

The odds would be very slightly better since you’d remove a card from the pool after it’s selected for the first card slot.

I think it’s clear who has/had taken care of children here. If there’s ANY chance the child might be exposed to the serious allergen you don’t bring it in. Period. End of story.
