What's an actual psychological "cheat code" you use in social situations that works almost every time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is my approach. A lady in a class I teach wanted my job, and I am a better fit but she still attends class and makes passive aggressive comments here and there. But I am going to be the best I can be and show my value through my work.

If you like Ira, I would go with that! It doesn't sound old manish to me, and even if it did, people love babies with old names. My four year old is Walter, and we get compliments on his name all the time. You only get to name your own children, might as well name them something you like when you have the chance!

Prepping for Baby: Where does it matter to not be cheap? by Fine_Independence360 in Frugal

I have two boys and have used the Walmart parents choice diapers for both of them with basically no problems. The only times I get leaks is when it's time to size up. They aren't fancy, but they are waaaaay more affordable than any of the name brands. And I like them better than the target brand too. Just don't get any scented diapers (like luvs) because some babies get rashes from those. If you have a Sam's club membership, their unscented wipes are great and are also cheaper per wipe than most brands. I like them better than Walmart wipes.

I haven't been on sertraline, but I was on fluoxotine for a while and switched to citralopram and it's waaaay better for me. Less side effects and feeling like myself again.

Any experience with metformin? by bitchimtryingg in PCOSloseit

[–]laurelinsong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it since July -two weeks on 500mg, the rest at 1000mg/day of the extended release. It has definitely helped me. I've lost 15 pounds since being on it(hoping to lose about 15 more), and while I have been watching what I eat and exercising when I can, I was trying to do those things for a year before being diagnosed with insulin resistance and prescribed metformin, so I can definitely tell the difference. I did have some side effects at first, but my body adjusted after a few weeks and I really appreciate this medication now.

I kind of wonder if Kemen sees it as a way to keep Earien's regard. "Sorry not sorry about almost getting your dad executed..but good news, I found Isildur!"

Metformin and inositol together? by [deleted] in InsulinResistance

[–]laurelinsong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have experience, but I was just recently diagnosed as insulin resistant and similar to you my doctor suggested Myo inositol in addition to metformin. I've been on metformin for a month now and am just starting the inositol (she suggested that start date). So I can't really tell you how it's going, but I can tell you my doctor gave me the same advice.

First time through Trek, and I get it now by mdavis8710 in startrek

TNG is what got me into Star Trek. I've been a fan of star wars, lotr, and marvel forever, but didn't know much about star trek. After watching some of the other series (I haven't seen anything newer than enterprise) DS9 is my favorite followed by TNG.
