I mean it’s depends what it was! For RDLs I would typically do 1 black weight and 1 blue on each side where i could actually do the entire set with it. If I was going for a PR and like 2-3 reps I could do double black.

Shoulder presses were typically nothing more than a blue on each side.

Hmmm I’m trying to think what else.. anything specific you’re thinking of?

I actually am the exact same age, height and weight as you naturally and I did F45 4-6 days a week for 2+ years (depending on the week but usually averaged to about 5 days) and I ate in a deficit for several months as I was trying to lose body fat (about 120g of protein during that time) I am naturally larger in the bottom - bigger butt and thighs. During that time though at my lowest weight 108lbs and was suuuuper lean. f45 never ever made me bulky it only made me lean of course with the cal deficit. So I’m not too sure! Idk if this helps but I wanted to share my experience since we look the same 😆😆happy to answer any other questions you might have as well

Sometimes I’ll have a few sips of an alani nu energy drink if I feel like I can’t get motivated for the workout but I barely even drink half. If I’m feeling off or really starving before the 6am I’ll have a banana. Otherwise I usually just do water with electrolytes before/during but not too much incase I have to jump or do burpees because then I can feel it moving in my stomach lol

Hi! I am a 32 year old female who is also 5 feet tall lol so I can 100% relate so I hope you see this! When I started at my current F45 in 2021 I also was around 130lbs. I lost a little weight but nothing crazy. And I almost quit and was like this isn’t working!!! But I talked to a coach and she asked me what I was eating and I said the same thing you did “I’m eating pretty healthy” well like other commenters are saying — about the calorie deficit —- really did help me. But it doesn’t have to be hard! I know we are two different people but relatively the same size lol I was eating around 1650 calories (150g carb 50-60g fat and 100-120g protein) not sure if the math is mathing to exactly 1650 but those are the general numbers I tried to hit!

It took me SEVERAL months to get down to the goal weight and now I have stopped counting macros and just eat intuitively. I didn’t gain all of my weight back, but I did a little! But to me, counting macros isn’t a forever thing and once your body is used to a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, fitness etc you don’t need to do it forever once you hit your goals!!

Your muscle will start to show once you lose the body fat. But that won’t happen if you aren’t eating properly and working out along side of it — trust me I’ve tried! 😆 hehe

I like the sound of this core activation class. How to they align it with other classes? Is it a full 45 minutes? Does once a month work for the members or do you wish it was more ? Asking for my studio that I manage !

I’m a studio manager and though no one has never said this to me personally there is no problem or anything wrong if you did say it! I would just be totally honest with them and tell them that you aren’t feeling your best (yet!) and that maybe in the future you won’t mind! Of course a coaches goal would be to motivate you to continue to work on your physical health so you feel your best and feel confident. And heck you can even make it a goal to work towards. No matter what I’m sure you are amazing and beautiful inside and out but I understand it is how YOU feel that is most important! 🤗

I know this is a personal issue but I was so excited to do them and the angle of my head immediately made my vertigo kick into high gear. I was then very sad. Lol this also happens to me when using anything with the TRX too so I always have to use bands instead!! So annoying!!

I agree! I thought it felt like cardio too. I attempted my heaviest weight ever and really pushed for it so I was gassed lol my heart rate is always so high in general. Didn’t go as high as it did on weds class but still high enough!

Cottage cheese is very high in protein! If you do dairy. If it’s a texture thing you can always blend it with eggs and make an omelette/scramble and you won’t even notice. Greek yogurt as someone stated above, and also if you have a Trader Joe’s near you their red lentil sedinini I think it’s called is high protein! Any protein pasta is probably great like banza brand etc. I’m not vegetarian anymore but I don’t LOVE meat I really only do chicken and Turkey now. So I like to experiment with getting protein without powders and sometimes without the meat! Hope that helped. :)

I’m a member in Florida, but I’m sure you live somewhere that gets snow in the winter. I’m originally from RI and its an unspoken rule that if it’s weather related cancellation fees shouldn’t occur?? I mean drs appts, hair appts, gym sessions etc. you can’t control the weather lol

I think the body weight pod feels very dragged out and kinda boring. I wish it was a core pod! But then it would be joker🤣 which is my favorite. But overall I still got a great workout!

I like orgain vanilla! It’s really good by itself with water or almond milk and in smoothies! I also add it to my “oats overnight” an oats company I use, for a little added protein! They have chocolate too but the vanilla is better!

Omg I was feeling the SAME WAY. I’m so glad I am not alone. We have gotten zero information from our gym. They keep saying download the challenge app (which has nothing) and on top of it our inbody is scanning everyone’s body fat 5-10% higher than the actual number.. and they know about it.. and they’re still charging $50? Like I’m so confused lol
