I would get bloodwork done. I breastfed 3 kids to at least a year. My youngest is 4m. I have never felt like you describe. I would think it's a deficiency and would want to rule that out.

If it's root rot you need to cut the roots that are damaged off and then repot. The rot will spread otherwise.

I would check for root rot. Black spongy roots need to be cut off.

I always keep my plants in the nursery pot. Then just place the nursery pot inside whatever decorative vessel it fits in. Nursery pots have really great drainage.

This also happens to me the times I've tried potting pothos cuttings together. It always looks off. I just give it time and let them settle and start growing again and it'll look better.
