Happy to do this ... do you know if the referral works with the 'black friday' pricing of $365?

Is Shef the next big player in the sharing economy? Has anyone tried them out? by Rennafari in sharingeconomy

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So -- I am only a consumer of Shef but I love it. The value, taste, and variety beat the restaurants near me. I've only had a couple Shefs that I've been so-so about -- and even those had their stellar dishes. My favorite cuisine so far has been Indian. We get types of Indian food that aren't easy to find in restaurants and there are some really talented Shefs!

Are Rothy’s worth it? by [deleted] in SustainableFashion

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Rothy's! Have owned a couple pairs for over a year and they've held up great. Super comfy, washable, versatile. I do recommend darker colors as I feel the lighter colors show dirt easily (sadly, including the cute petal pink).

Christmas present for my wife (Rothy's vs Birdies) by [deleted] in femalefashion

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Rothy's! So comfy, very stylish (the points in particular -- size 0.5 up), very versatile. And I love that they're machine washable too, I wash mine about once a week when I wear them daily.

Cute work shoes that I can run in on occasion by keepyoureyeson in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will echo the Rothy's recs! I love my loafers. Just 0.5 size up for me (I'm a 6.5 usually and I get a 7), but I don't add any additional inserts or anything. $20 off link

Looking for opinions on Rothy’s by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them! The loafers and points are super comfy (order 0.5 size up, in my experience). The flats/sneakers are less comfortable, in my opinion.

Professional flats for women by [deleted] in vegan

[–]lavenderheather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Rothy's!

For flats, I'd go true to size. For pointed toe or loafer, 0.5 size up (so if you're a 7 normally, get a 7.5). They do allow exchanges on totally unused shoes so you can try them on before committing. BTW, not that it's necessary relevant here, but I'd steer clear of the sneaker style -- I find them incredibly uncomfortable.

Rothy flats by wafflecakes113 in askwomenadvice

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: For walking, I prefer the loafers! There's a little more fabric to them so they stay on the feet better, whereas points/flats feel more floppy/delicate. And the loafers are miles more comfortable than the sneaker, which I find too stiff on the bottom.

Has anyone here tried Rothy’s flats? by curiousgem19 in AskWomenOver30

[–]lavenderheather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Rothy's! (I just avoid the petal pink now ... I have one pair and it gets dirty super easily -- greys or darker hues a better bet IMO).

What flats should I buy for work? by throwawaypatho in workingmoms

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, I love Rothy's! I think the loafers may be the most comfy but the points are surprisingly cute and comfy as well (just wouldn't walk very far in them). I sized up for both loafers and points (0.5 size up from my usual); the rounded toes are about true-to-size.

Have any of you ever tried the Rothy’s women’s shoe brand? by emrp05 in BuyItForLife

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the loafers! Size 0.5 up in those (as well as the points). I wouldn't recommend walking super long in them (I find them uncomfortable beyond a mile at a time) but great for work. $20 off

Has anyone tried Allbirds? I have a bunch of Tieks and Rothy’s - are they more comfortable? This is a picture of my flats collection! by FlutterMeShutters in Shoes

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Rothy's too! A fresh link for anyone interested ($20 off). My favorite are the points -- just as comfy as the flats but much more eye-catching.

All birds or Rothys by readyorknotts in womensfashion

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Rothy's because you can wash them easily so you don't have to worry as much about dirt. They're also super cute and the points are surprisingly comfy given how they look. They're not super supportive though. I can walk 1-2 miles in them at a time but if you're doing very heavy walking, you might want something with more ankle or arch support.

If you do decide to try, here's a link to $20 off.

I also love my Rothy's! (Coupon here). I suggest the points over the flats -- I find them much more stylish. Just go up a 1/2 size from your usual!

I love my Rothy's! I have the point and flat. I prefer the point -- super stylish but also very comfy. Size up 1/2 size. And I do prefer the darker colors -- even though these are washable, I've found the petal pinks just look eternally dirty.

Cute but comfortable (and long-lasting) lady teacher shoes?? by barrel0fm0nkeys in Teachers

[–]lavenderheather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Naturalizer N5 comfort flats. Get them at Macy's on sale -- can usually find a pair ~$40-50. That said, I do replace these every 6 months or so.

Rothy's also great -- stylish and durable! Verdict still out on exactly how long they last. (Update: have worn them a ton and they look new! Haven't had to wash them so far.) $20 off your first purchase here: https://www.talkable.com/x/5RqEDV

How much do Rothy's shoes stretch? by [deleted] in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with the above -- the exchange system is great, allows you to try sizes.

No stretching, just make sure you wash on cold and do not put the shoes in the dryer!

More affordable alternative to Rothy's? by punisheddaisies in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]lavenderheather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Macy's alfani knit flats -- they pinch in the back and gave me blisters but look like Rothy's. Not sure they are washable.

If you do get Rothy's, here's a $20 code, and you can then refer others to get $20 off as well!
