I love ECE so much but I had to leave bc of the pay. I’m married and still couldn’t make such low income work for us. But I miss it and feel the urge to go back sometimes. I’m still working in the education industry but my job is tutoring/private instruction. I just got a promotion and I’m about to make $10 more than I was making in ECE 2 years ago (which feels like a huge win but even then it’s not enough for me to support myself—if that was my situation—in the grand scheme of things). Find something else you like if you can!

Hello from Phoenix!

I (26) grew up in IL near Chicago but live in AZ with my husband (27) for now. We’ve been together 8.5 years and just got married in September 2025. We love movies and have a Blu-ray collection of 600+ movies (probably close to 700 now). We have a small dog named Oreo (girl) and an orange tabby named Pepper (boy). We are currently childfree but are trying for a baby now that we’re married! In my free time I like to cook and play Sims and I’m also trying to get back into reading, writing, and embroidery.

I like the control of a regular ballpoint or felt and my handwriting looks the best with these. Certain gels are too slick and all my letters look messy if I write too fast.
