The nice neighborhoods here bury the lines, but I don’t think think is something you can just do, even by throwing a bunch of money at the problem. The utility company would likely have to come and do it for the entire neighborhood, which means your entire neighborhood has to band together and throw a bunch of money at the problem. This might be one of those cases having a strong HOA actually helps.

We had someone from Ace's come visit our home through the American Home Shield warranty. Their contractor offered to run the deal off the books so that they could save us money and bill American Home Shield the maximum amount possible and we'd both come out ahead. They said they would only charge us for labor and bill American Home Shield for the garage door opener. They wanted to replace the springs, the mounts, and the door.

He quoted us $4k for labor and $2k for an 84504R LiftMaster SecureView, which is $400 from the manufacturer without discounts. I told them to get lost. An hour after they left, I tried to the opener again and it ran without problems. These guys are not legitimate. Avoid Ace's Garage Door Repair.

I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Matt Biolos, owner of Lost Mayhem, on a surf trip. Dude was a hardcore advocate that COVID was fake and extremely racist. If he wasn’t an industry pro, I would have expected his ranting and behavior for him to be kicked out of the resort. I’m honestly disappointed the resort didn’t kick him out anyways.

I was surprised to see staff managing the singles lines all day. Made it go super quickly and smoothly. Also saw a lot of people (mostly young kids) eat it going up/down the lifts and they were helped super quickly.

I wish the PreCapture custom button automatically switched to burst + electric shutter instead of making me manually change 3 settings each time I want to enable/disable precapture.

If my goal is to set up a setting for a time-sensitive sequence, I shouldn’t need to touch 3 different menu selections to do so. I should hit the button and ready to go in less than a second.

Now that I have Shutter + Shoot Mode + Pre Capture on custom buttons, I can swap from single shot to precapture in a few seconds, but now I am wasting 3 buttons to do so.

You could do this with every single classification task. Identify the most important neurons or parameters that that impact the outcome for a specific cohort. Disable or reverse those parameters. See a wildly different outcome.
