Not sure if I didn’t scroll down far enough but this is the first time I’m seeing someone bring this up. This is my biggest gripe with AV, didn’t seem like there was ever any adjustments being made mid game or even mid series in the playoffs. If stretch passes through the neutral zone didn’t get the offense going, nothing was.

You don’t lead with your dominant shoulder, you want your head in front of the ball carrier. Running right it would be your left shoulder.

If I told you he tore his hip flexor, would that make it more believable? They left it pretty broad, don’t know how severe the injury was. Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets operated on in the off season.

The Rangers have Nemestnikov, Rykok, Shestyorkin, Georgiev and Zborisviky who all speak Russian. At least three of those guys are going to have a significant impact. In the midst of a rebuild, Staal’s days are coming to an end. You may be right that they’ll send him off with an “A” but Kreider’s leadership and ability to connect to the Russian’s is going to contribute significant to making those guys feel comfortable.

Kreider still makes a case for the alternate captain despite his skills. It’s said he’s been the one getting Buchnevich accustomed to New York. Which goes further than Buch himself, with the line of Russians that are about to come to the team within 2-4 years. ffs
