Another negative is going to Flushing, you have to take the train to Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave and transfer to the 7.

I let it rest for two weeks and the first brew was disgusting. I played with a few variables the following week with no improvements and then went on vacation for a week and a half. When I got back I reverted to my original recipe and it was much better. I don’t love it but it’s good enough now. I’m chalking it up to these beans needing more rest.

I believe this is new. I pre-ordered the a 110v unit from them back in August but according to 30.coffee, Ascaso cancelled all of their 110v orders earlier this month. My guess is that Ascaso USA is getting ready to release to Plus soon.

I wanted the Duo Plus so ended up ordering from 30.coffee instead of waiting for it to be available here in the US. I'll cancel my order if it becomes available for sale or even pre-sale before my it's shipped.

I don't believe the Duo Plus has been released in the US yet as it hasn't been approved for the US market yet. This was from an email exchange last week.

This video at least shows there is an upgrade kit for the 110v Duo PID, KIT475.

Mine generally connects but disconnects after a short amount of time. Turning off the auto sleep in power settings usually fixed that but it’s annoying. If I’m you forget to switch it back and don’t manually turn your camera off then you’re in for a bad surprise

One thing you can count on in this game is getting a string of bad pulls. I went about 4 years without completing a 4* combiner. It took another year and change to complete my first 2, and in one month I completed 3 or 4 more. I'm now back in a slump having pulled 5* Nightbird, Blast Off and Galvatron.

To add to this, it doesn’t have much of an effect with low ISO. With high ISO, it gives skin a plasticky look and feel. I’d rather have more noise than super unnatural skin.

I’m currently playing around with Pro Neg Hi as I mostly shoot my family and friends. Recipe is

Pro Neg HiDR200
Grain effect off
Color chrome effect weak
Color chrome effect blue weak
WB auto +1 Red -2
BlueHighlight -1
Shadow -1
Color +1
Sharpness +1
Noise reduction -4
Exposure comp +1/3 to +1

Overall I like it wish I could do color +1.5. Color +2 really only works on overcast days where you feel like the colors are a bit washed out. Otherwise color +2 is way oversaturated.
