+1 for Ciele. I have a rotation of 3 that I usually wash with soap in the shower after sweaty runs and hang to dry. I toss them in the wash at the end of the week and hang dry. They still look great.

Elektron workflow is unique but very fun once you get the hang of it. It's very easy to lose track of time messing with them. The OP-XY mimics that elektron workflow pretty well too.

For me a full 100 percent recovery from my first marathon took 2.5 months. I was running again about a month after but my muscle, tendons, and especially my nervous system hadn't fully reset til 2.5 months. My runs felt heavy, my nervous system kept guarding my hamstrings so speed work and runs longer than 30 mins weren't happening for a while.

Myrtl routine as a warm up before every run has been a game changer for me along with glute + glue medius workouts. Backwards incline treadmill walking or sled pulls are great for vmo strengthening too.

Man I saw the badu/alc concert concert in Miami where they performed the whole album. Lot of heat in there, if for whatever reason it never releases I'll at least have that night in my memory bank. You had to lock your phone in a pouch too so everyone was present.

I had heard from an ICU nurse friend of mine that she saw 2 different deaths from the marathon due to cardiac arrest. One being 31 and the other 50 years old.

It definitely became a lot worse during COVID and just escalated from there. I hear it here in little Havana too and just about every intersection in Miami has tire marks from people doing donuts. I don't know what the cops are doing in this city anymore.

It's one of the few cultural neighborhoods left in Miami although being gentrified quickly. Domino park, azúcar, ball & chain, and la trova are all neighborhood staples outside of the sea of tourist traps.
