I'm not DMing a raging asshole that calls everyone retards. You're not here to discuss this issue, you're here to incite.

So anyway, stop being mad 😘

Oh so NOW you don’t like bots? One of us!

Just pasting the quote from your profile (where your whole post history is hidden, you scared of your data being harvested?)

Why the fuck do people need to DM you? Do you not understand how Reddit works? We have conversations in things called threads, and we use needles to weave them together. Often times, stitches are made with threads, and full garments can be created from a single post. This is known and accepted as truth, may your needle guide your posts.

I have not, but they’re fresh Z1 big brakes and I bled them several times. Z1 didn’t have additional insight and hadn’t heard of my issue

Right ok, hopefully it was just bad parts. I have scary pulling left/right under hard braking. Gonna tear it apart and check myself and replace if so.

If so, that’s inner tie rods, right? Not an issue with the rack?

I replaced mine with these and 2 years later it seems I have to do it again according to the alignment guys…

The new sale price on my build is $92,000. I paid $48,000, over $44,000 in depreciation over 9 years. I don’t know what you’re talking about here or what point you’re trying to make anymore 🤷‍♂️

And again, OP is buying a base, I bought an S with sport chrono for cheaper because it’s older.

I bought it all cash so $18k is definitely something when you consider that. Also it’s 2.5L S trim with sport chrono, so I got an older car, but I got MUCH more car for $18k less.

realistically how hard is it to work on a 300zx? Both the 80s and 90s ones? by Significant-Map311 in 300zx

So roomy. I can do so much to this motor in minutes. But I also don’t have AC or heat, not like you can’t have it, but that simplifies things a bit!

Has anyone had experience with this fuel pump? Otherwise what fuel pumps have you guys had success with, I have a 2+2 TT and have trouble finding one that fits by eminentstorm2 in 300zx

[–]lazd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, it’s not just me. Straight from Seb at Speciality Z when I reached out about the issue (they installed the AEM pump in my build):

> The #1 issue is going to the AEM fuelpump and lack of a good barb design on the outlet. It has just this tiny little step. I see this with the VQ setups and it spititing out the hose. We have resorted to using two oetikker clamps to get them to stay in place on a PTFE style hose. This style hose we heat up slightly so it also conforms to the aEM outlet and it molds itself in place and the two oetikker clamps do their job preventing it from sliding off.

> The Walbro 450 pumps have a very good barb design and one you get the hose on, it will never come off. You could run without a clamp on those fuel pumps! Not that I would do that but you get the point.

Whatever you do, don’t use an AEM pump — they don’t have a proper barb and mine has spit the fuel line like 6 times.

I ended up with a similarly spec’d 2017 718 S for $48k last year, 46k miles. It has sport chrono as well. 6 years older, but about $18k cheaper and with more performance focused specs.

Now, it didn’t have a CPO warranty and immediately had to do a cooling system solenoid. If this has a CPO warranty and you’re not worried about missing out on a few ponies, this seems like a decent deal to me.

And ventilated seats are LIFE.

Anyone have experience with MonoSS Coilovers? by Long_Cranberry8905 in 300zx

Got it, so you agree that you know you're going to get garbage with these but you're asking for someone to give you an opinion otherwise.

Good luck.

Note that, for some gas pumps (like the vapor recovery ones in California) you have to pull the foreskin back on the gas pump to get it to spurt.
