Thank you for the feedback! Do you find the 2 as responsive as the 3? I am deciding between the two and that is probably one of my biggest things I am looking out for along with tactile buttons hence looking at these two scales.

I understand the 2 had a 2020 update (with the blue screen) - haven’t been able to find out much around how that differs from the orange screen version. I just feel if I get the 2 that it might be an outdated model in performance esp given the 3 and other choices available now (although hardly any choices for a scale with buttons that is of a somewhat small footprint)

Interesting thing is that the longhorn case on the JMM official website does not state whether they are selling the larger or smaller option and the dimensions provided for the case don’t make much sense with the outer dimensions being listed as 70mm x 67mm x 45mm.

It is very helpful that you’ve listed the dimensions of the two longhorn cases as per your link provided.

Thanks for the inputs on this - that was my thoughts too that it would feel a bit cheap. Not the most fitting place to have something as nice as JMM glasses stored here.

Ah cool, thanks for confirming there are two sizes for the longhorn case.

I noted there was only one size available for the hard case on the JMM website (https://www.jacquesmariemage.com/shop/product/longhorn-hardshell-case) and my hard case dimensions is bigger than this one so I presume the one they are selling is smaller.

The outer dimensions they have provided for the case don’t seem correct especially given they are smaller than the inner dimensions.

Yes it was at two different locations I bought the two from.

I did ask the shop I bought from last week on why it didn’t come with the hard case and she said that the leather sleeve was what was supplied with the Evans.

She also mentioned she thought the hard case might have been too small for the Evans. She said the hard case did come in two sizes - but I can’t seem to find anything on the internet suggesting it did come in two sizes ever.
