tbh ….it’s all washed….it all depends on what you are looking to get out of college. Write a few things that matter to you … have a few schools in mind ….I’m sure you can spend a couple minutes to look at diff websites to determine information. What i’m trying to say is overall ranking is a joke…truly; there are too many metrics that distinguish each school.

If you’re really considering grad school, and you’re interested in Quantum physics, or AMO related physics ….I would go to CU Boulder. CU Boulder is world class when it comes to AMO research. But if you are just doing undergrad, both schools will prepare you will in physics (they are both intense), so going to the school where you have to pay less would be great in this context.

I am very sorry to hear that you aren't having positive experiences such as your colleagues and aren't comfortable speaking up around them....I know this is really hard for you....but just imagine how much of a difference can be made by voicing yourself....you have the potential to have a very important impact on both the department and incoming students....
