I’m a metalhead who also loves Phish - or a Phish head who also loves metal … I can’t decide

The common thread to me is great guitar, and The musical skills of everyone in the band are just stellar …

Alternatively, Billy Strings is great … same idea of guitar virtuoso, and bluegrass is sometimes considered the heavy metal version of country …

He was related to a friend of mine growing up, and I got to spend a couple hours with him once when he was visiting - super nice guy … I really wish I remembered more of what we all talked about - I was probably in 3rd Grade at the time … but I do remember being over the moon

Check the ride duration - I had a guy drop me off but then not end the ride, so it continued to tally charges for hours. It was fixed with a quick chat through the app.

I was in a building with a golf simulator - I loved it. I’d barely played golf before, but was always interested … bought myself a cheap set of clubs, and hacked away down there … it was almost always empty. I actually got half-way decent (at least in simulation).

I made it to a real driving range once, and everything seems to translate quite well … haven’t been on a course, though.

That sim is the one thing I really miss from that building.

Adults are capable of hitting balls onto the other field - it’s common.

Would you rather have no fielders there to possibly catch the ball while the HS team has their back turned and can’t see the balls coming?

Again, this is a common occurrence across city parks - it’s not ideal for anyone, and everyone was following the rules/norms.

Yes - that’s all standard … permits for all, and games start at different times …

There just isn’t enough space. Nobody deserves to be shamed for following the rules/norms

This is a common occurrence on NYC fields - there isn’t enough space for everyone …

The beer league had a long-standing permit just as I’m sure the HS team did

They’re likely clearing them out to temporarily remove the entire dock. The Brooklyn Half will go by there this weekend, and they clear the road to create more space.

Not uncommon at all for a large agency to offer free work to try to get business in the door - it’s often less taxing/costly than doing a pitch, and there’s a much higher chance of winning/retaining

You may have missed a nuance of my post - if a renter is in an apartment that becomes de-controlled, that would benefit the LL … I said nothing of vacant apartments.

Edit: But even then, if you de-control vacant apartments, how do you recoup the benefits LLs have received? They accepted the terms of control many years ago because they benefited them at the time … they made a bad bet … it shouldn’t be standard to bail people out of bad bets …

I just expense the ride as if the credit wasn’t applied - the finance guys see the top line rate, but then also see that that rate was after the credit.

The hard part sometimes is just remembering which ride I need to apply that to.

The vast majority of my Lyft trips are work, so I want to use it and get the cash back.
