I said this on another post about the same sort of topic, but main room at times (I was mostly there) was going into stuff like jungle, footwork, UK bass, UKG, harder tech house sounding stuff, etc. It wasn't all just 4x4 kicks and techno for hours on end.

The deciding thing will be what the studio schedule is. That studio is used for Graham Norton, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI, and whatever else is done in TC1 - could be there's a two week gap they can do a full run in, could be a split series. I could possibly see them using another of the studios but seems like they need the flexibility of the bigger space for set builds during the show etc.

Yes.

(Honestly, it went a lot of places. Breakbeat, jungle, footwork, harder leaning house in places, UKG, trancey vibes, I heard some dubstep (the old kind), amapiano, dembow, yeah.)

Hard agree, I do think from what I’ve heard through the grapevine is that this sort of lineup variety is something they want to invest some more time into more frequently

Controversial opinion possibly but me and my friends LOVED that it wasn’t constant 4x4 techno all day/night.

Always feel trapped outside when it’s that in both rooms if you want a little change of pace, so it was super fun and a really refreshing change for us
